I live in independence mo
I always stop by here on my way to visit family in Albany mo. I usually get a frozen cherry pie. The sticky buns. They run out of these quickly. I love the fried pies and the deli meat and cheese is really good. I baked a chicken pot pie today. It was so good. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. They have added on. It has a lot of stuff..they have lots of spices, honey cookbook

I ordered a deli sandwich on sourdough. While I was expecting a more traditional sourdough taste, it was still a pleasant and fresh tasting meal with plenty of lunch meat.

This place is pretty darn cool and I’m happy I live real close to it, it is pricey but I think probably worth it and I think the owners support a worthy cause so if you shop or eat here, you can too. ☺️ The people who work here though aren’t the friendliest but not rude either. They have nice little Christian decor things too.

The atmosphere is perfect for a late breakfast or lunch with tasty menu options everywhere. The fully customizable sandwich options is sure to get you anything you want. My personal fave is rosemary garlic bread with Black Forest Ham and Smoked Cheddar with tomatoes, onions and pickles finished off with a toasty panini option which is fancy for pressing your sandwich on a hot press into more like a melt or toast sandwich. They also have a great manager, Marie, in charge of the store to make sure everything you need is taken care of and in stock unless it’s a really hot item and sells quick. They have many options for drinks and chips that’s likely to satisfy any person to walk in their door! Very friendly atmosphere especially with older couples and good old farmers who stop in for brunch or an occasional bite.

This place is a hidden gem that I stop by every time I leave Ginger County circuit Court. The food’s good, The coffee’s good, and you can work at the tables in peace. Donuts, pies, and cheesecake are all delicious. This place should only have five star reviews.

My brother in-law and I broke down in their parking lot for a few hours last week. The employees were all very polite and very attentive. The food was fabulous as well! I had the roast beef and cheddar panini sandwich It was amazing! I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

What a lovely place! We had nice deli sandwiches here, along with plenty of sides and other options. But the service and atmosphere were even better! It overlooks a nice pond and field for great views while you eat, there are places to lounge and relax, and the folks who run the place are very trusting and friendly, with many unique items to take home as a souvenir if you wish!

Would highly recommend!

We go to the Cook Stove primarily for the type of deli meats they carry. The staff is always great and the store is very nice, clean and bright. Have never eaten there but hope to soon.

Had the honey roast turkey & Gouda and a roast beef & mozzarella both on a rosemary and thyme bread with tomato and mayo. I definitely recommend the honey roast turkey. I also got honey barbecue Fritos twist chips and a fountain soda. The expanded space is great for group meals, and it was fairly busy from 11 – 12:30 pm. Parking is a bit challenging until you see that have parking in the rear of the building. Their bathroom is clean, but it wouldn’t hurt if they had a second bathroom in the expanded area for the lunch crowd. I particularly loved the couch and fireplace at the front next to the new café counter. Almost too comfortable that couch. Definitely a great space that’s a bit out of the way if you need someplace to decompress in the middle of your day.
