I just moved to Danville and was looking for a place where I could sit down, enjoy a good coffee, and get some work done. I’ve tried a few spots, but since trying Old City Bagel Co. I will not go anywhere else now.
Yesterday was my first visit, and the blonde young lady who helped me was incredibly kind and patient with my very specific order. She made me feel genuinely welcomed and helped me customize my drink exactly how I like it without ever making me feel like an inconvenience. I had a breakfast bagel and a coffee, and both were a solid 10/10. I stayed until closing, and none of the employees made me feel rushed out, which really stood out to me.
Because of that great experience, I was eager to come back again today and was helped by a different young lady who provided the same 10/10 service. My drink was made with consistent quality, and I tried the avocado bagel this time. She recommended adding tomato and seasonings, which made it even better.
The food and drinks are excellent, the prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is perfect for sitting down and getting work done. I will absolutely continue to be a returning customer. If you’re considering trying this place, I highly recommend it.

Delicious bagels, they were out of avacados when we went. Looking at their menu online we picked items we wanted to try, unfortunately they were ones with avocado. The staff is friendly but doesn’t go out of their way. Everything is in to-go containers, even if you eat-in. You pick it up from the counter even though they’re not busy, and if you’re taking it to go, you need to grab your own utensils and napkins, just a head’s up.
Bagels were delicious, I’d go back again with this service in mind, I’d prob tip less since I do everything but make the sandwich.

I just LOVE pretty coffee ☕️…it just tastes better somehow!! Check out this Chocolate Covered Pretzel Iced Latte (chocolate and toffee nut with salted caramel cold foam). The staff is so nice!!! They gave recommendations when I asked and were super helpful and friendly!! What a great spot for breakfast or lunch!!! The ambience is adorable!!!

I ordered an onion bagel with veggie cream cheese, and it was great! The bagel was toasted and warm. They loaded it with cream cheese. The price was what you normally pay for a bagel sandwich or lower. I would recommend this place and go again when I am in Danville, PA.

Amazing bagels, amazing coffee, amazing baked goods, amazing service! Imagine walking into a cute quant bagel shop with the aroma of fresh brewed coffee and sticky buns right out of the oven=Perfection. I got “The Big Diehl” special on an Oreo bagel, nitro cold brew coffee and a red velvet donut. The Oreo bagel was soft, chewy and toasted perfectly! Anything on Nitro is worth the hype, smooth smooth smooth and less acidic than regular coffee! NOW after tasting a homemade donut I can NEVER go back to the chemical tasting donuts that Dunkin produces. Seriously go try for yourself! Would love to see Old City brand out to the Williamsport area so I can be a daily customer. 10/10 recommend and worth the drive wherever you are coming from!

I enjoyed my very first visit to the Old City Bagel Company. I had the French toast bagel with cream cheese and fresh strawberries. It was delicious. I will definitely be returning. If you have not tried this quaint little place, I recommend you stop by. Very friendly staff and lots of delicious little goodies to try.

Cute little shop. Bagels are tasty with a bunch of options to choose from. Coffee selection is plentiful as well. It can be a little slow waiting for a bagel sandwich. Not enough to fuss about personally, but worth mentioning. Prices are about what you would expect from a cafe/coffee shop.

I had high hopes for Old City Bagel. We visited in the morning and ordered 2 bagel breakfast sandwiches. We were excited to try some made in house egg bagels. We ordered and waited patiently in the small but cozy seating area. After a bit of a wait we received our order. Upon opening the paper wrapping I noticed there was a long dark curly hair in the middle of my sandwich that I had to remove from both halves. (I was willing to look past this, things happen) Upon first bite I realized I should have ordered a beverage. Our sandwiches were dry as the desert and nearly flavorless. The bagels had an almost over proofed texture and were tough and dry. I’m not sure if day olds are used for the breakfast sandwiches but maybe we came on an off day? I have never had a bagel that bad and I love bagels. I don’t think we will be visiting again. I hope this was an off day because there are so many good reviews.
