I have been in Chicago for 2 days, from Michigan. Both days I’ve been researching what restaurant would have the best Chicago style pizza because my family hasn’t tried one before. Trust me I researched. I came across another Michiganders review and she sold me.
The love that goes into these pies are truly tasted. Every topping their own flavor. The sauce is perfection, and my 18 year old couldn’t stop saying how incredible it tasted and how authentic it was. My 14 year old who is so picky about anything was so excited about how amazing it tasted. He ate more than I have ever seen him eat. The crust is the perfect buttery flakiness without being too greasy. You taste everything, and tonight was the best pizza experience I’ve ever had. Don’t think, just do! Order it. I’ve been to all the trendy popular downtown Chicago pizza joints, this is a hidden gem and should totally be experienced. And they are so friendly to boot! Authentic, genuine and talented in the culinary art of a deep dish Chicago pie. Enjoy! And thank you so much OCPC! And our Delivery was on time, hot and fresh, and the driver professional and sweet!

On my way home to Michigan from visiting science center and wanted a real Chicago pizza. Ordered pick up. Didn’t realize the neighborhood would be a little rough. Close to highway and on my way home. Completely worth it…… old school, owner operated, and amazing pizza. We didn’t even wait to get home, pulled over after it cooled and had a slice in the car. Best pizza I’ve had in ages.

Ordered through doordash, took an hour and when my food arrived pizza smelled funny prior to opening. Once opened pizza was not cut the cheese was literally sliding off of the crust and the crust was not cooked properly. Ever sliced I picked up the cheese slid off the bread. Food and Money went to waste Will not be purchasing again !

This was my first time eating from Old Chicago Pizza Company. I tried to order by calling in my order. I was informed that they only accept cash, unless I order online. I was instructed on how to place my order online.
My son ordered a deep dish/thick crust cheese pizza. I ordered sausage, onions, and green peppers.
The pizzas were delicious and fresh. The cheese was super moist. The sausage was perfectly seasoned, not over bearing with fennel.
The only issue I had is the location. You definitely want to order online, pick up your pizza and go. Definitely worth the drive.

We tried this place out and got 2 larges and an individual and it was 70ish$. They had a nashville hot chicken and honey we got the individual of, and it was pretty dang tasty. We got a large pepperoni and large 7 meat i think. They were both pretty good. The crust had a nice crispiness to it. I will say its kind of annoying on the pizza sizes. They seem to only have a 16″ and like 8″. So IMO they are pretty darn expensive for what it is. We enjoyed it, but I think grabbing a specialty pizza every now and then might be the way to go. It’s too expensive for the size of them. Service when we got there was good, however when my wife added a pie to the order she mentioned that the person on the phone seemed annoyed and mean.

When you want the BEST food the hood got it! Old Chicago Pizza Co THEE BEST Chicago deep dish period! They upgraded the size of our pizza no charge! The cheese bread was tasty also. The service was quick and friendly. The next I come back to Chicago I’m going to old Chicago pizza company for my deep dish fix!

Wanted to try authentic Chicago deep dish for the first time in Chicago and this pizza was incredible. I was recommended Giordanos but felt like I would get a more authentic experience by trying a local spot that wasn’t a chain. The inside is small with no seating and it’s a bit sketchy feeling, but the pizza was more than worth it. The crust is buttery with garlic, and the toppings are incredibly fresh and generous. For $12.50 and a free slice of delicious lemon cake as a “welcome to Chicago” gesture, this was hands down the best pizza I’ve had in the US.

Ordered medium deep dish sausage and beef and it’s delicious. The sauce is good, with good seasonings, quality tomatoes. Cheese is also high quality with a great butter crust. Thin crust is decent too. Delivery was A1. And threw in a 2 Liter, that’s love. I like their slices too for walk in.
