Pros: Ms Jill was my server, and she was great. Ensured everything was good, and checked on me regularly. Sweet tea was on point, even got a cup to-go, Snow crab/ shrimp was good portioned
Cons: restaurant itself is alittle dark inside crab and shrimp even though good were Little cold (some parts).
Overall: would recommend to tourists, locals alike. Enjoyed the food and service.

We eat here on every trip to Ft. Walton. We started with crab claws and scallops as our appetizers. The scallops are on the spicy side which I like. The crab claws are in too much sauce so ask for light sauce. We shared a steamed bucket for two but it has enough for 3. All of the steamed food is amazing and the house salad dressing is off the chart delicious. You can buy a bottle of the dressing to take home.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary here, never been before being we from Orlando. Word can’t tell how marvelous this place was. I am a native to Florida and been to many seafood restaurants and I can say this is one of the best. Our server was so nice and helpful she explained to us the things we had questions about in detail. Next time we are in the area we will be stopping by again

Fresh food! We ordered the Basic Steamer which consisted of an abundance of royal red shrimp and plenty of snow crab along with new potatoes and corn on the cob. Never touched the potatoes so could order without vegetables next time (No Frills Steamer). Automatically comes with a nice salad and wonderful vinaigrette house dressing which we purchased. Would definitely return again. A+

Old Bay Steamer is def a fine dining experience. I was unexpectedly surprised by the lack of variety to the menu. They def handled the FRESH SEAFOOD items well and cooked them properly which is MOST important, but I did expect a bit more out of the sides given the atmosphere and menu prices. I would def still recommend to someone wanting a good seafood fine dining experience, but if you have a sophisticated pallet it may now be for you per se.
Staff was wonderful. Atmosphere made you want to stay longer.

The food and service were fantastic! We had a great time eating here. It’s your classic “I want great seafood” restaurant. The menu is large, and the prices are very affordable. I loved the salad (provided with all meals) and the enormous and healthy side options. If I lived in Fort Walton, I would be a regular, for sure.

Very cool atmosphere, nice jazz music playing. Good selection of food items, waiter provided great service. Steak was very tender and delicious. Seared tuna was great, the meals come with a gouse salad with a vinaigrette dressing that was delicious. They have a kids menu that had good options. It’s definitely pricey, but worth it.

Great place for seafood. The salad is huge and very tasty. Fresh catch was Red Snapper, had it topped with crabmeat. One of the best dishes I’ve had. crab legs very good too. Highly recommend the bread with butter/mushrooms.
Bartender could’ve been a little more attentive. To go container has holes on one side and liquid spilled all over us. Apparently this happens often..should’ve been told that when they brought them out to us

The homemade house salad dressing and cocktail sauce was AMAZING!! We ordered the baked oysters and both got the steamed shrimp plates. The oysters were overcooked, likewise, the shrimp was tetering on the same well done outcome. We still ate them, but we’re just disappointed. The service and atmosphere were outstanding, so we would be possibly willing to try again on another trip!

We stopped by after seeing all the great reviews online. The food was absolutely delicious, we had the house salad, the shrimp/crab steamer, and the red velvet cake as well as the PB chocolate cake. Everything was beyond our expectations, in a great way. Asia was our server and she was very attentive and polite (thanks Asia 🙂 ). We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
