Had great wait staff. Was a Saturday night so had lots of workers. Probably should have sat in dining room, lots of employees walked by our table continually, not a huge deal, just 4 stars for service and atmosphere. Food and drinks were exceptional.

Very disappointed just wanted to be honest. Me and my boyfriend just went there and I got a Cobb salad and he got an Old 10 burger. It wasn’t that busy and the server waited about 10 minutes to get our drinks. The food was not good. Chicken was dry and over salted. Way too overpriced for the food. The burger was super greasy and made my boyfriend throw up. Used to go there all the time, won’t be going back.

Good food and cold beer. Sandwiches are big and very good. Free popcorn. I’ve had several of the sandwiches with fries. Coors Light to wash it down. Lots of tvs to watch. Or you can move out of the bar and into the restaurant for a change.

My review is not fake and is not made of accusations! I wrote a truthful review BACK THEN! A YEAR AGO! Why are you only NOW redponding to my review? A year later? Obviously the only fakeness is with you. Back then, I dined at your Mandan restaurant and it wasn’t busy and the food wasn’t good. We also, told our waiter, and the manager that night did nothing. So we left and planned never to come back. If you wanted to know more about my experience at your restaurant you should have asked me…back then, a year ago. So don’t respond a year later to a review that I wrote on experience I had and call me a liar. People know the difference between real and fake. I did not like your food. You didn’t respond then so there must have been some truth to what said about your food. Be understanding and helpful not rude.

Love the atmosphere and decor! Vintage photos of Mandan adorn the walls. There are three areas you can dine in. The front area is more for family dining, a full service bar area has black jack and pull tabs available along with a couple video games and of course plenty of televisions. There also is a covered patio area (the patio furniture had not been placed yet, this is the first day they are open). The staff was super friendly. Liz was our server, very attentive. I loved that she had already tried menu items and gave recommendations. We had the Old Ten Burger and the Pot Roast French dip style both were delicious! The Old Ten Burger was big and had their Old Ten sauce on it, very tasty! The Pot Roast had a wonderful seasoning and loved the beefy gravy for dipping rather than au jus, soooo good! The French Fries were crispy shoestring style. They also have a shoestring style sweet potato fries for an up charge. Happy to see they had Coke brand soft drinks. Lots of options on the menu including burgers, salads, flat breads and pasta. The appetizer choices looked very appealing but the tummy only has so much room! And they also had some desserts. So excited to have another dining option in Mandan.

Quiet, responsive staff, and food was hot. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great burger and fries. We did not go to the bar section so I cannot comment on that area as we were only in the restaurant section.

Had the German pizza and pot roast egg rolls. Food was solid. I like a little more pungent kraut, but I get that isn’t for everyone.
We visited in the afternoon and it was pretty slow, 4-5 other booths. But it’s worth mentioning our server was, frankly, flawless. Friendly, fast, and anticipated our needs. It wasn’t her day on the job and it showed. KEEP HER!

The service, food, and drinks are the best in BisMan. This is my number 1 restaurant pick! UPDATE: 4/24/23 I’m updating to add to the new location in Bismarck: The portion sizes have decreased tremendously! I always get the French Dip style pot roast sandwich (which is delicious) and I only had enough meat to fill, not even half of the bread. It was actually laughable that they served that. I am a small person who usually eats half a meal, and saves the rest for another meal, but I ate my entire plate and was not full. I have decreased my original 5* rating to 4* and will give the new location another try. Maybe they were just running low on their pot roast that day? Either way, it was a very disappointing plate to be served, and the manager should not have let that go out to a table. (FWIW: two of us had the pot roast sandwich at the table, and both servings were half of what they normally are.) The photo shows the amount of meat I received on the sandwich on 4/23/23 at the Bismarck location-it was just enough to fill a half sandwich.
