Great food, delicious drinks, the ocean view on the patio, and our server, Fernando, was amazing! He provided suggestions that were so so good! The pastilellenos were tasty – we ordered a combo plate – and the pineapple habañero sauce was yummy. The churrasco nearly melted in your mouth – divine! would give 10 * if possible! The red snapper sandwich was crispy, light, and not fishy tasting at all, and we upgraded to truffle fries. Quinoa salad was light, fresh, and so good with a citrus dressing. The strawberry daiquiri with local Barillito rum was smooth and fresh – careful if you’re a lightweight with alcohol – it hit hard in the best way. Highly recommend!

The Breakfast is very good. The dinner is not. I had Carne Guisado and the meat was tough like shoe leather. The sauce also didn’t have much flavor. One Bartender was super attentive and the other wasn’t. It’s a bit hit and miss. For the prices and the level of this hotel you would be expecting far better. Restaurants on Ashford outside are streets ahead.

The atmosphere is just great and very attractive. The place itself is clean and fancy – expensive building materials and furniture, overall looking great outside terrace with the ocean view. They have coloring sheets for kids which is very helpful. The food quality is below average- the way it looks and presented till the products quality. Pricing is high for the food quality, service is so-so. Waiter that served us did not really like her job, never smiled but asked “is everything alright “ a hundred times during 2 hours – though she could clean the table instead but did that only after being asked

The place is beautiful an open kitchen, a lovely terrace, and a very welcoming front desk staff.
Unfortunately, the service did not match the atmosphere. While I was speaking with my husband, the waitress interrupted us twice to ask if we wanted water, even though our glasses were already empty;This could have been done quietly without interrupting the conversation. they cleaned our table after appetizers and took all utensils.We were looking for her for a while to ask for some forks etc
The staff could benefit from better service training.
As for the food… if you enjoy dishes that look good in photos, you may enjoy your dinner.

Vanderbilt is my favorite hotel in San Juan when you stayed here not only the food and service is amazing but also it has a rich history. I loved the tuna for lunch by the pool was so yummy and tasty and fresh.

beautiful setting in the Hotel Vanderbilt with ocean view. The octopus risotto is delicious, the octopus is tender and juicy, just too salty to me. The tuna tartare is fresh. The cheese cake is special and tastes rich, highly recommend.

Visited Ola Ocean Front Bistro recently, and while the food and drinks were just okay, the overall experience was pleasant. We started with the soup of the day, a beef stew, followed by tuna for me and salmon with spiced broccolini for my daughter. The dishes were alright, not the best we’ve had.
However, the service from the staff was phenomenal. They were attentive and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, and we had lovely seats right by the window. Despite the heavy rain that afternoon, we still enjoyed a great view of the water and the patio.
If you’re looking for a place with great service and a stunning atmosphere, Ola Ocean Front Bistro is worth a visit. Just keep in mind that the food might not blow you away.
