I really enjoyed the Black Thunder Nachos. I had the varenikies and it was great if you’re looking for a light and satisfying lunch. If you’re looking for something meatier than the kutleti will not let you down. These dishes are found in the European section of the menu which also features American and Mexican cuisines. This restaurant does have a unique feature, Black Thunder , a bull riding machine out back!

This place is so unique. I love the interior design it’s so charming and yet has a homey feel. I love the menu and the variety of Mexican and Ukraininan, Russian food. I got a Russia crepe which is sooo good I wish I ordered more than one and the prices are reasonable. They also had a military discount which I appreciated. The food was fresh and warm and delicious. Our waiter was very respectful and polite. I will revisit and recommend.

Great chips, Mexican food and Ukrainian food. We had some of each. My son loved the chicken in a biscuit. Wonderful place to take a family. We are going back for the burgers.

Its a great place for families. Highlights were the playground and kids eating free. Great atmosphere and the best serving staff I’ve yet to encounter. I’m a photographer for over 10 restaurants so thats quite a compliment.

Great food lots to choose from on menu great prices. Everything cooked fresh! Authentic food. I had shrimp skewers with rice, pickled onions, bread sticks, and a salad. Looked so good that I forgot to take a picture.

The staff was very nice and understandably nervous…opening night! A full house and cheerful environment. Best of all, food was great…genuine. My wife was born in the old USSR and she was delighted. Super experience.

OMG they have homemade fry sauce. If that’s not the way to a northwestern woman’s heart, I don’t know what is. And yes, the fry sauce is every bit as good as “back home”. Service is great, food is well-seasoned, plenty of options for people to choose from different types of food. The restaurant itself seems a little run-down because it’s an older building, but don’t let that deter you. We were surprised how empty it was at what seemed to be a prime time of day to get lunch, and worried that the food was the reason. But really, the food was great! The margaritas are cheap, huge, and tasty. I think it’s just that not enough people know about this place yet. The driveway is a bit of a bear to get into because of the close proximity to the intersection, and it’s easy to miss. It’s worth turning around for, if you miss the pull in, though.

Great Ukrainian food. I had the borscht soup and varenyki and pelmeni. Tasted just like my Babushkas. O the memories of her and my mom’s family. Awesome prices on margarita specials. Met the owner and she was very friendly. Will definitely go back.

I had the pork chop plate and the sauce mixed with the bacon and apples on top were amazing . Nice big portion of pork chop and great service. I love the fact that on their menu you have a variety of European food mixed with Mexican and American . Great tasting and great service !! Give this place a chance , you won’t be disappointed.

Ok-y, . Sooo came by for the first time since we’re always in the area. I wasn’t in the mood for Mexican or feeling adventurous for Ukrainian, so I had some American Fare.
Had the Chicken Fried Steak w/ white gravy, mashed potatoes w/ brown gravy & home made green beans. It was the bomb!
Chicken fried steak cooked perfect, both gravy’s were on point, and green beans cooked just right!
Also had a $3.99 Margarita special and it was super delich and a good size.

I would recommend anyone try this place, it’s local, and still a little slow because I don’t think enough people know about it, and having use to own a restaurant I know how it can be, so everyone give it a try so this place can make it!

When we were walking out, a lady whom I would assume is one of the owners, she seemed Ukrainian asked how the gravy’s were, said she was trying new recipes. I told Her they were great! But asking customers on flavor is super rare these days, most places crank out mediocre flavors and never check w/ customer. So points on that one.

Check it out!
