If you are a fan of Pho or Ramen, you will likely appreciate the Udon at Okome. The tempura selection is outstanding, featuring a high-quality, colorful assortment of shrimp, potatoes, green beans, and other vegetables (see my attached video).

My only critique: they need to offer hot tea. It is surprising for a Japanese restaurant not to serve it. While Jasmine is my personal preference, offering at least a classic green tea is a basic requirement.

Wife and I came over to the west side to enjoy some of the treats over here, found Okome To hit the spot. If you’re looking for medium fair for lunch, that is good and plenty for, this is the place.

Came here once and got hooked. I come here from Waikele just to get their food. Nothing but good things to say about the food and owner/manager. Always friendly when I come here. When they forgot my order, they gave me back my money and made us extra. They were extra courteous and apologized many times. One of the best things most restaurants lack that this restaurant has, is consistency. Their food is good as the first time I came here. Now we come once or twice a month. Highly recommend the miso salmon! They use the belly for the dish. Soft and so flavorful! Try it with the multi grain rice. Healthy and yummy!

Food here is okay. My wife and kids always enjoy eating here a lot. Honestly, in my opinion, it’s just meh. However, there is a lot to choose from and the workers here are very friendly.

Personally I enjoy the food here a lot, I think it’s at a decent price point for most items as well. I like their Poke/sushi and handrolls, as well as their Gyoza. Most of the tempura is good as long as it hasn’t been out long. Overall I’m always happy to eat here and I hope they do open in SALT cause I’m usually in town and will definitely be there. Mahalo

The food is decent, type of food that you can get anywhere else but a little pricier. The issue is the cleanliness. There were crumbs/mystery liquids on the tables every time I’ve gone there. In my most recent trip, there were gnats flying around my table/food. I counted about 5 buzzing around just my table and landing near food.

The service was amazing from start to end. The cashier shailee who was on duty double checked my order to ensure everything was correct and even ensured that utensils were in the bag and even ask if I needed sides such as wasabi, ginger, and shoyu. All while helping me she was able to multitask and help other customers to keep the restaurant going.

The food is delicious and the tempura selection and fresh sushi rolls are plentiful. The food was as delicious as it looks I promise you that. I ordered the Khal Bi and my partner got the Futakake Katsu Ahi. We both grabbed some gyoza, croquet, I got the fried chicken he grab shrimp.

We ate it all!! The price is a little steep but the food is worth it!!

First time visiting here. The food was very crisp, fresh and delicious. When you order a combo dish, it comes with a green tea energy drink. The first taste was sour but after a couple more sips, you get use to it. My overall experience is GREAT!
I HIGHLY recommend eating here if you love raw fish and sushi

Ordered online for a set time, so it would be easy to pick up and go.

Turns out we got there 10 minutes early, and I asked if the order was almost ready, because you know sometimes food sits, plus I wanted to go and do something and come back. Too bad for me, the girl said it was almost ready, so we decided to wait…

We waited, and waited, and waited… Took 20 extra minutes from the time I had set the order for.

I understand they got busy AFTER I came and checked in.

Yet tons of people were getting their food before us, people who came in AFTER us.

Finally, 30 mins later we got our food.

Turns out they forgot the curry sauce for the tempura curry, AND someone didn’t peel the shrimps all the way… Had shells left on SHRIMP TEMPURA.

I was going to give it a 3*, but… The lack of customer service, the lack of curry sauce, and one temaki was cut so strange, with the shrimp shells, I’m going to have to drop my review to 1.

I will not come back here, unless I’m forced to.

Don’t judge a book by its cover, the food looks pretty, except for the temaki roll…

Totally disappointed…
