Our service was good, my husband and I were the only people eating in but they had a ton of online/pickup orders. Our food was good, the hibachi chicken was good but had too much sauce overall it was good. The dinner portions, 2 can eat off 1 plate so I definitely had a to go box. My husband had the baby octopus and he said it was alright but it was bland and needed more flavor. We both had the hibachi chicken but he got the shrimp with it as well and it was good. I also had a side of hibachi noodles and that was probably my favorite of the miso soup and the salad. Definitely go if you’re hungry because its alot of food but I would go again.

We got the hibachi chicken and 2 sushi rolls. It was so tender and flavorful! Some of my favorite chicken ever! The portion sizes were amazing, and the clear soup that comes with the chicken is delicious! We were the only ones dining in, so it was super quiet. I just wish the music was a bit louder so it wasn’t awkward lol. Definitely a great take-out spot!

My toddler aged daughter and I went in on a Friday night and were immediately seated by a friendly waitress. My daughter had a craving for noodles [as all toddlers do]. She had the side order of Hibachi noodles and an appetizer of edamame. I had the hibachi steak dinner. Wonderful choice!
The side order of noodles was an excellent choice- perfect size for an excellent price.
My dinner was HUGE for the price. Steak was excellent.
This place is down the road from my house. Will definitely come back.

When I first walked in I love the look of the restaurant. We were seated right away. My daughter really wanted sushi and I wanted to try General Tso chicken. We saw the sushi pizza and thought it would be a fun app. The pizza sushi was great! The salad that came with the meal was normal for sushi places. There was one big slice of tomato that was mushy and not very appetizing. But the rest of the salad was ok. My daughter thought her sushi was good. The wasabi and ginger for the sushi didn’t seem very fresh or good quality when I tried it. I like both on my sushi so it has an impact on the over all flavor if they are not sharp clean flavors. I got the hot tea which was good. The waitress was attentive in keeping it full which I really liked. I asked for my General Tso chicken really really spicy. They delivered with lots of hot peppers in the dish, I was impressed. It has presented nicely with garnish and the steamed broccoli was prepared well. It hit the spot and my daughter and I enjoyed our first experience at Okinii.

Worst place for take out… they tell you a time but they don’t start making your sushi until you get to the restaurant and pay. They have had me late back to work everytime I get take out for lunch… super annoying. Also very stingy on the soy sauce for your sushi

I love okinii. This is my go to spot for sushi or sashimi. The quality is always very fresh and I haven’t had anything that I don’t like. The wait staff is very pleasant and the atmosphere is awesome. The restaurant does not feel super confined which most sushi places have that vibe. I’ve been to Japan and thought after eating sushi there it would never be the same. I can safely say that okinii is the closest thing to Japan.

I’ve ordered take out from here twice now. The first time was a bit better than the second but both times I’ve really enjoyed the sushi. I’ll have to make time to actually visit the shop one day.

The sushi was absolutely phenomenal! The quality of their fish was above my expectations. Each delicious morsel has the perfect balance of rice, fish, and flavour. If you are ever in the mood for some top notch sushi, I highly recommend getting your fill here!

This is my second time getting sushi the first time it wasn’t good at all very weird mix of flavors, figured I’d give it another shot, second time it’s the same thing and they didn’t put the crab or avocado in my roll.
