I wanted to make another review of this place considering I made one so long ago on a different account!
I was having such a bad day today and I was really craving some soup. I ordered it for pickup on door dash and applied specific requests in regards to said soup. They absolutely listened and applied my requests and gave me flavorful food to enjoy and feel better with.
This is my favorite hole in the wall place in Yorktown. I’ve been coming here for years and this is my go to spot usually. Although I want this business to flourish I genuinely want them to stay hidden lol. This is my little special hidden place and if I had to have competition to order their food it would make me sad .
Always enjoy this place and the people who run it. I recommend the chicken udon noodles and the bok choy! That’s my go to every time.

This place definitely deserves higher ratings! We were celebrating a birthday tonight and wanted to stay local and decided to give Okinawa a try. I haven’t been here in a while, and decided to look it up. I was a little hesitant to go there based on some of the reviews that I read, but I decided to go for it anyway. I am SO GLAD we did.
We were a group of 9 people, 3 of which were children. They were able to accommodate us on the hibachi side right away. The waiters were attentive and professional. The chef was entertaining and accommodating of our requests. The food was tasty from the salad to the entree. Our family tried the shrimp, steak, and chicken and they were all delicious. On the way out, the bartender came up to our children on the way out and actually handed my kids little cones of fish food to feed the fish in their little pond in front. It was such a great surprise and they loved it.
Good food, good prices, and good service are the simple things we all ask for and they delivered !

We moved to this area about a year ago and have tried several Chinese and Asian restaurants since then. For those of us who grew up in Asia, most Asian restaurants in the U.S., especially Chinese ones, feel more like fast food. I’ve always missed the authentic flavors of home—until today. At this restaurant, I finally got to enjoy sushi, wontons, and sweet and sour soup that taste just like they should. My son was so thrilled that he asked if we could come back regularly.

Food was well seasoned though my steak was a bit chewy. There was a little entertainment from the chef at the hibachi grill and a not so attentive waiter when it came to refilling drinks.
I’ve been to the Hibachi in Croton before, and they set the expectations very high for any other Hibachi in the area.
Anyhow, there is nothing wrong with this place – you’ll leave not hungry and the price is fair.

The quality of this restaurant declined a lot since my last visit. We order chirashi, the chef use a big plate, dumpe some rice on it, and some randomly placed sashimi slices on top, the presentation is aweful, and a three-year old can do a better job, and the fish is not fresh. When we got the bill, there are items we didnt’ order nor served on the bill, luckily I checked. Will not recommend this restaraunt to anybody, and we will not dine there any more. very bad experience.

Okinawa is the greatest restaurant of all time! Been coming for the past 13 years and its always a wonderful experience. You need to try the Hibachi!!! The miso dressing is amazing as well.

They charge 2.75 for a can soda that’s the price of a bottle of soda not can . I haven’t opened my food yet but the food is all over the place and a mess in the container ! They stuffed two of my orders into one container !!There is barley any sauce in the container and it looks old

Amazing food and service everytime ! Highly recommend the mango smoothie, lettuce rolls, pikachu rolls and fried rice but everything is amazing. Playlist always amazing too. Favorite spot to come to!

My partner and I come here all the time! It’s a sweet little spot with a relaxing menu. It’s not overwhelming. We both have our go-to foods that we order. I usually get the chicken udon noodles, and the Angry dragon roll for sushi. Lately I noticed they’ve changed their dishes and added more flavor to them which makes me super happy. I like how the waiter checks in enough but to the point where we can enjoy our food in private. I’m a little sad they changed their tapioca for their bubble tea, it’s more a jelly type of thing. I give this place a 5 star. It’s become our little “spot”. I’m super excited to try the Pokie bowls they’ve added to their menu!

It was such a great experience It’s the best hibachi I’ve eaten We had Gary was fantastic. We have the filet mignon and scallops and also the steak and shrimp and had fried rice with the vegetables and they were so delicious and he put on such a great show and it was such a great guy. The staff was fantastic always attended to our deeds definitely be coming back here again before we leave to California.
