Wasn’t sure what to eat as not much was left open this evening (4th of July) but we found this little spot. Ordered ourselves a few rolls and a chicken teriyaki bowl. My youngest enjoyed his chicken tenders and fries. Gyoza was really good and edamame too. Staff was friendly and our food came out fast, was so good!

The restaurant was relatively small.We were able to get a table right away.We had a few appetizers that were very good.The entree I had was the spicy chicken bowl over white rice with veggies and was pretty good.What made it spicy was they squeezed some siracha on the chicken.Only three stars for atmosphere because it was very loud in there.Something about the acoustics.Overall,not bad.

I was craving sushi while here in Corolla. I looked up the highest rated sushi places. So happy I decided to give Okinawa a try. I had carry out, the restaurant was full. The eel roll and tuna roll were delicious. The rice was still warm. The service was pleasant and expedient. Will definitely return next time I’m in town.

Great sushi! First time visiting and our waiter so nice and the restaurant was so clean and quiet. I’m sure it can get busy but it kind of felt like a hidden jem to me. Would recommend and return again.

I forgot to post a review last year. This place was open last year during our yearly beach trip and it was a great surprise. Japanese food in obx is lacking and this fills the void. Me and my gf both got bento lunch and the food was fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to go back in another week for more food food

This was a great sushi place! We arrived during dinner rush with a large group but they were able to seat us surprisingly fast. We thoroughly enjoyed the salmon bowl, Yame, and Miami rolls with some additional shrimp tempura, eel, dragon, and Boston rolls. The fish was delicious and fresh. Not many sushi places can make hot entrees on par with specialized sushi, but they pulled it off and it was fantastic!
