We did take out and the Sushil was VERY good. We tried a ton of different rolls and did some sashimi. Every was Delicious! Fresh tasting. Well put together. Would definitely get it again. Kids loved it all!!

Stayed in Blackfalds while attending Hockey Camp. Decided to try this place. It was amazing. Food was fresh & very tasty. We went 3 times during our visit.
It was always busy, so I am guessing it is popular with the locals. The staff were friendly & the service was great.
My wife really enjoyed the Sushi while I enjoyed the beef teriyaki. Will definitely go again if passing through Blackfalds.

Now this was a surprise! Such an amazing sushi place in such an unexpected spot! I loved their adaptation of traditional sushi to the western cuisine, which brings out the best of both worlds in one order. We tried a few different types dishes, sashimi, rolls, gyoza, etc. No disappointment at all.
The service was perfect, the prices reasonable, the taste and quality of food amazing. I’ll definitely be back here for more!

Stopped in on a Friday evening for supper. Restaurant was busy but still lots of seating. Busy with take out orders as well. Menu has lots to offer. Food was easy to order, didn’t take long to prepare and Deeelicious! Staff is very friendly and personable.

I adore their Salmon Teriyaki, the fish is always perfectly done.
The server, especially the kind older lady is so sweet and funny. She really likes my wife and playfully gives me a hard time. I feel as if we’re almost family.
Their rolls are good as well, the avocado roll we get for my son, the avocado is always creamy and ripe.
My favourite sushi place in town for the food and service.
The atmosphere is good as well, they could elevate the place to another level and probably charge more for their food, although I am glad they don’t, so I can visit more often.

Everything from ambiance, service, and food was exceptional! The portion sizes were very generous, and you get excellent value, freshness, and flavor explosions! My favorite was the OMG! Roll. I forgot to take pictures of everything because I got distracted by the pure enjoyment of my experience. My new favorite sushi spot thats close to home for sure.

This is a great sushi place in the Red Deer area. The portions are very generous (especially sashimi) and the flavours are great. The only challenge can be duration of the meal when things are busy, but good things are usually worth the wait.

Three of us had a fabulous meal and delightful service on a Sunday night in Blackfalds. We had spicy deep fried tofu which was a perfect starter followed quickly by our favorite, tempura yams. Large pieces of yam in a very crispy tempura.
We followed up with Smoked Salmon sushi, Tiger sushi and a very special Joy Roll. All three were perfect combinations of flavor, (smoked salmon, spicy tuna and crab) crunch from cucumber or toppings and that essential flavor component, umami.
We will be back for more!
