Up in the heights I was looking for some lunch sushi and happened to be a block away from this spot. Reviews were decent so I thought I’d give it a try. I sat down and was greeted immediately and was informed I could bring my own beer in which was nice, I then proceeded to order. I chose two deep fried rolls as those are my favorite. They came pretty quickly, but as I waited I looked around the sushi bar area where I sat and noticed some absolutely heinous looking things. First of all the tins where they were getting the sushi wraps from were so gross ( will include picture) I noticed counters weren’t wiped off, there was a massive amount of clutter and the view into the kitchen made me nervous as you could tell it want sanitary. I got my food and the ginger was discolored like it had sat out and the sushi rolls made my stomach sick for two days. I then waited 15 minutes after I was done to pay and I was one of two patrons in the whole place. sadly I won’t go back as it’s not worth the risk. I will include pictures for anyone guessing if they should try their own hand at it.

Okinawa is a very quiet and comfortable place. I got the Volcano Roll, Tiger Roll, and Crunchy California Roll and all 3 made my happy sushi heart melt. They were so delicious!
Only thing I wasn’t happy about was the floor of the restaurant. It’s very sticky. Everyone’s shoes audibly was sticking to the floor and it bothered me. But to me the food made it worth it! We will definitely be making this our new date night place!

Absolutely love this restaurant! I go probably once a week and the sushi is consistently good! The owner works so hard and is such a sweet guy! Glad he’s finally getting some help but overall I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!

Good sushi. Had the Hot night roll: red snapper, tempura and cucumber. Nice especially with a touch of wasabe. Salmon Roll had good fish. The rolls came with Mizo soup. The food was faster than the drive off the interstate. The place is a whole in wall but I would stop again.

Cheapest sushi in town. This place is a hole in the wall secret. Usually not packed. Come for 1/2 off sushi at 4pm. Drink water or hot tea and you’ll have an inexpensive but delicious sushi meal.

All I can say is that it was disgusting. Waited an additional 15 minutes beyond my 20 minute wait time for my takeout sushi order, but I was served miso soup during my wait. The soup was tasty. Upon getting home and opening my sushi (only a ten minute drive) everything was incredibly soggy and there was no crunch left on any of the tempura. The sushi in general was gross and I will not go on about it, but the worst part was the hair I found in between the tempura and the nori on my roll. Hopefully it shows up in the pictures – it looks like a dog hair or men’s hair maybe? Yuck. I’m sad because this place gets incredible reviews – in my experience it was terrible.

Absolutely awesome food here! Great service and so thankful this place is here. It was quite busy for Sunday lunch. Portions were American sized which was wonderful. Very impressed for our first time here. Chef’s special was a great deal.
