Incredible food, service, and atmosphere at oki bowl in Georgetown. There is very delicious and customizable ramen. The miso ramen was rich, and slightly sweet, when paired with the beef. Highly recommend with a side of chili oil!! The Tom Yum ramen was very spicy – with enormous shrimp – very yummy. This is a classic spot for ramen.

First time visiting this restaurant. Love the neon lighting and the 90s anime decorations. The food was great, especially recommend the Oki curry ramen and the Tom Yum ramen. There are some vegetarian options. Staff is attentive and quick with their service. We’ll definitely visit again next time.

We got the mushroom rice bowl and the Oki curry bowl. It was delicious. The servers were very nice. They have lots of anime decorations on the walls that are pretty cool. I definitely want to go again. What a lovely time!

I love the menu at this place and can’t wait to go back to try more dishes. I wasn’t very hungry on my last visit so I just ordered the Dumpling Curry, Tofu Tempura, and Taro Milk Boba Tea. It was all delicious and I had enough leftovers for two more meals. I tried a piece of my friend’s kale tempura (from the Galanga Ramen) and it was insanely good. I could have a bowl of just the kale. Not sure if they sell kale tempura separately but they should!

Love the atmosphere too, very nostalgic esp the 90s anime’s wall decor/mural.

We ordered the unagi bowl and the spider tom yum.
We hope the unagi bowl could come with a bit more side dishes.
Overall, the food was decent, but not quite impressive enough to make us want to come back.
The interior decor is very cute.

About time to have a good, classic, rich Ramen. The miso broth I tried is thick, chewy noodles, and a good selection of add-ons. They also have Boba on the menu among other items. Cozy place to be, especially for me as someone who loves and respects classic Japanese cuisine, and anime! Did’t find Captain Harlock on the wall though 🙂
Also I think the entrance could be more visible, or some more pronounced sign – I missed the alley turn

My stepmother and I had an amazing first time at Oki Shoten. We shared a fried chicken appetizer. I ordered big bowl showdown (miso broth, mushroom, scallion, seaweed, and marinated beef) and a strawberry lemonade. The restaurant is small, but comfy. The walls are covered with pictures of classic animes, ESPECIALLY Ghibli movies!

Run, don’t walk! Had my first ramen experience in the US, and it might have already set the bar. We ordered the Galanga Ramen (vegetarian) — it looked incredible, and that first bite of crispy kale? Next level. The portion was generous, easily enough for two people. We also tried their Thai Boba, which was delicious. A total value for money, highly recommend this spot — great flavors, great value!
