I really enjoyed the Acai bowls. They have lots of coffee, lattes and smoothies. They also have some muffins, bagels and French doughnuts. The staff is super friendly.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews. I was looking for an email instead of leaving a review because I want any criticism to be constructive and not necessarily public when the experience was this bad. I would have said something to the employees before I left but as I was about to a big group of people came in and I didn’t want to wait.
I went this morning and was incredibly disappointed. I had the peanut butter acai bowl, and for $11 you think they would at least serve you higher quality peanut butter besides Skippy or whatever they use. The size was also lacking.
I also ordered a normal latte, no flavors, and it was undrinkable. I have to say it was probably the worst I’ve had in my life, and as a former barista, that is saying something because I always try coffee shops when I travel. The milk wasn’t aerated at all. It was simply heated up milk with, bitter, burnt coffee.
There are PLENTY of good roasters out there. If you want to continue as a coffee shop you NEED to get your beans from somewhere that doesn’t roast them to death. Also, if none of your employees who make coffee know how to aerate coffee well (and no one to train them in person) there are many YouTube videos that can give simple instructions on how to improve.
Again, I don’t normally like being this critical, but for $17+, this was unacceptable.

We had to stop in a few times during our visit. I first tried the Snickers latte which was good and inspired me to try a hand at making a butterfinger version. The ladies there where really nice and helped explore the idea.
We mixed dark chocolate, peanut, and toffee flavors. This worked out pretty well. Next time I might try 1 part dark chocolate, 2 parts peanut, and 2 parts tofee to get more of the center of a butterfinger taste. Look forward to trying next year!

I absolutely love this place! I come in here a few times a week for a cappuccino and a breakfast sandwich and they do a fantastic job! Only thing better than the food is how friendly the staff are! Makes my morning every time ❤️

Very pleased to try OKI Coffee House for the first time. They were very kind to allow me to get a cup of coffee earlier than I realized their hours were to officially open. Coffee was strong enough drip brewed and oat milk available was a nice touch! The pumpkin bagel was good though I would have preferred they butter it so it melted. Very friendly staff and a nice start to the day!

We rode our bikes here on a Thursday at 1pm in March. Since it was a warm sunny day, I ordered a cold matcha latte and my husband had a regular decaf. The service was great and we enjoyed sitting at the tables inside and chatting. Besides a wall full of awesome flavors of coffee, tea and other beverages hey offer bagels and baked goods that look delicious and there are also oak island items for sale like mugs, ornaments hats and koozies etc.

Second time here. First time (last summer), my plain old drip coffee was lukewarm. So this summer I’d been going to Island Jo but their online ordering was down this morning and I have a bunch of my kids with me so I went to try OKI Coffee House again with an online order. I got there and it was a growing line of customers so I stood to the side assuming they’d call my name when my online order was ready or at least have something I could look at myself (receipts are on the bags). It wasn’t until after they went through the whole line of customers that I went up and asked if they’d gotten my online order. Yes, they did, and she got it from behind the wall. I don’t know how long it had been there but this setup is horrible for ordered placed ahead of time to AVOID the line. Plus, I was missing a knife for my cream cheese and the cream cheese is a measly container you can get from the store. Spare yourself the disappointment and go to Island Jo’s for a more quality food and coffee experience – esp when you’re paying upwards of $13 for a medium latte and a bagel.

Coffee was so strong and burnt tasting it was hard to choke down! The muffin and açaí bowl were alright, not as fresh as expected. The tables were sticky! Saw this place on Tik-tok as a place to stop, I recommend going to the Southport coffee house just 15 minutes down the road in Southport. Much better coffee with amazing and unique bagels! A bit pricey too!
Got home and added a freaking scoop of ice cream, and it still tastes terrible!
Downgrading to one star now!

Wife wanted coffee on our way out from Oak Island. We stopped and it wasa cute little shop. Was a small line which made it hard to get in if the person standing in fron if the door waiting I. Lone isn’t polite and allow you in. Was t an issue or any control of the shop. I git a Snicker frozen coffee which was pretty good. I also have an everything bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was OK nitbing special. And they gave you a small thing a creamcheese. Wife had a Jamaicanme crazy she said is was good. Daughter had a carmelo and she loved it. Was over all a nice little coffee shop. They had souvenirs as well. They were pretty busy but did a good job keeping up.

Never in my life have I seen a beige matcha latte that tastes like nothing but oatmilk. My boyfriend went in to actually get me my drink because I saw other people who had bright green matcha lattes & the woman told him it was green and has matcha in it. Lol. Acai bowl was frozen solid.
