I took a sick friend because she wanted soup and it was listed on the online menu. We walked in and were the only people in the whole place. There was bread/chip crumbs on the floor everywhere. We got to the counter where an employee was playing on her phone and weren’t greeted or spoken to. She just kind of looked at us like we were crazy. My friend asked what kinds of soup they had and she said I don’t know, I will go ask.she asked and was told they don’t serve soup in the summer. So my friend said ok I will take a pimento cheese sandwich with crispy bacon. She didn’t want any chips and only a drink and the girl mumbled something to which both of us asked excuse me. She repeated her self and said it’s cheaper if you get them as a combo, so ok we did that. We went and sat down as again my friend is sick. A minute later my friend realizes she should have asked for tomato on her sandwich. I walk up to the counter and said young girl is on her phone w her earphones in. I say excuse me and ask her if it is too late to add tomato, she goes to ask, comes back and mumbles that it can be added. A few minutes later she brings out the sandwich wrapped up. My friend opens it and I immediately am like that looks like cream cheese, no shredded cheese and few pimento. She takes a couple of bites and pulls a half cooked piece of bacon off. This is repeated several times before she just took all of the bacon off and says thank goodness I asked for tomato. Meanwhile instead of cleaning or sweeping the floor said young person sits at a table in the front of the restaurant plays on her phone with her earphones in until a family comes in. Needless to say my friend didn’t finish her sandwich and was like I am ready to go. Once we were into he car she stated they will never have to worry about seeing me again.

I had the club wrap. There were so many yummy options. The place is quiet, nice for a meal alone. The price point is fair for the portions. The food is super fresh!

Stopped here for lunch. Place was clean. Service could have been better. The person taking orders could have been more helpful while I was ordering. I got the chicken salad sandwich. It was ok but nothing special and I found bones in it. Didn’t try anything else. Ordered a water with my sandwich and never got a cup or anyghing.

If all you wrote about is the great and delicious sandwiches, then you’d be missing out. The generous portion of cheesecake is silky smooth. The chicken salad is a great meal on its own. There isn’t much on their menu that isn’t mouth watering. Today I had their Turkey and Swiss sandwich. This wasn’t some thinly sliced turkey. It was a good portion of turkey breast between two slices of fresh bread. Add a nice slice of cheesecake and a drink, the nine dollar meal was money well spent. Better than any fast food I’ve had. Located minutes away from the local hospital, Person Memorial, where I’m working at this week, I’ll be surely returning multiple times before heading home.

Best chicken salad in town. Possibly in the state. A 1/2lb tub, some crackers and a sweet tea, and you have lunch.
Signature Cobb salad is also outstanding.

Another hidden gem found in Roxboro, NC. Just finished up a bowl of creamy potato soup from here that was so very delicious. Definitely recommend anyone to get this dish. But you need to call ahead to check on what day they’re serving it.

If you love chicken salad, I highly recommend the cranberry walnut chicken salad they make here. It’s the best I have had! Their homemade cakes are so delicious. Flavors vary each day. Staff is always friendly. Inside and restrooms are clean. Very reasonably priced. We had a oatmeal whoopee pie today. It was so good.
