Established in 1961 by Bill O’Keefe, initially O’Keefe’s consisted of only the “Tap Room”, seating about 50 people. Bill’s son, Frank, was a member of the famous Outlaws Band, and O’Keefe’s was a frequent hangout of the band. They enjoyed classics like the Yuk Burger and the Seven Course Irish Dinner.

One of our favorite spots in Clearwater. Great food, drinks and atmosphere. The Irish Puffs and Wings are two of our favorites, along with the Reuben and Shepherds pie. They also make a great Bloody Mary! We have been regulars for over four years and have never had a bad meal.

Excellent as always. Food is consistent top quality, portions are generous. Gotten a little pricier than my last visit but everyone had to go up. Still a go to. Great atmosphere. Go and enjoy. French onion soup and ribs are killer good.

5 Stars without a doubt….. I’ve pretty much had (and like) everything on the menu, but the Patty Melt I had yesterday was awesome…..get it with a side of Guinness gravy to dip your sandwich and fries…..the bar ambiance is comfortable and they have an outdoor seating area as well….

I was told they had excellent Bangers and Mash so I had to come and compare it to my usual restaurant that serves it. Kelly was my server and took my drink order promptly. While I was waiting on my food I browsed thru reviews and saw all the comments on the bread pudding so I added that to my order. The Bangers and Mash was plated very nicely which was unexpected. Unlike my usual it added grilled onions and a tomato slice. The Guiness gravy was beefer flavored that I’m used to but went very well with the sausage when you added the onions. I was told by my son that this was served more American style with the flavor of the gravy and the added onions.

03/18/2022, I decided to have dinner here for the first time on Saturday 03/12/2022, with family and a friend! I ordered the O Patty Melt with Fries and a Shepherds Pie! The O Patty Melt on Rye Bread was prepared and cooked to perfection as ordered. The Shepherds Pie was also great, however it needed more Guinness Gravy added. Kathy our waitress was very friendly and informative, ensuring everything was good at our table! The restaurant had nice Irish Decor throughout with a Fireplace that illuminates green flames. There is also a large covered Outdoor Dining Area! Great Restaurant, Highly Recommend!!!

Good service. Nice bar with nice folks. Outside dining. Could be cleaner. We had the corned beef and cabbage puffs, really good. They brought us 3 that were good, then two that were really good. Don’t know why. My friends ordered the meatloaf and it looked good so I ordered it too. The vegetables were good,the mashed potatoes were good but the meatloaf was ice cold.
