What an adorable hidden gem in Canmore! Good spot for some instant noodles, and light Japanese snacks and beverages. They serve sushi but during my visit in Dec 2025 there was no ramen which I was craving! Will definitely revisit to try

Amazing lunch spot. Had the spicy tuna and teriyaki chicken onigiri lunch special with a cup of delicious miso soup. We also ordered the takoyaki and taiyaki. So glad we did, some of the best food we have ever found.

Service was fine, was fast to get my big order combo.
Sushi is my favourite food and I was excited to try out a new spot. Price was reasonable.
But then got home tried the sushi and regretted getting so much. Would have been better off getting from the grocery store, tasted kind of old and bland. Very fishy smelling.
Still ok but won’t be coming back.

Food: The ramen was ok. Not the best I had. The soup was not hot enough, the egg was cold and the broth needed a touch of love. The pork lacks flavor.
Service: it was great.
Location: it’s a great location, and the place is clean.
I believe they can get 5 stars easy. I’ll be back.

Great food, and nice staff. Kids enjoyed their ramen, and my teriyaki beef skillet was delicious (especially the sauce)! Husband ordered the dynamite roll, which was just ok. A bit tucked away but they have a sign on the sidewalk that will lead you to them. Had to pay $3 extra for a side of rice to go with the skillet.

Got a quick afternoon snack at Okawari and was pleasantly surprised! The onigiris were tasty and fresh, and miso soup warmed our soul on a cold day. Takoyakis were tasty and hit the spot. They had limited selection of onigiris by the time we got there at 2:00pm which was unfortunate, but fair.
They had very reasonably priced lunch combos. The owner was very pleasant, and passionate about his shop.
Very limited seating, 3 bar stools. So this is more of a take out spot.
We plan to be back to try out their rolls, and other flavours of onigiris.
Great selection of candy and other Japanese confectionery.

We bought a Thai milk tea with bubble. It was really tasty. Taste like the one we had in Bangkok. Glad to find this store here. We asked for regular sugar level but it was too sweet for my Asian taste buds. Hence I would recommend my fellow asians to order less sweet cos it will still taste good.

A nice like restaurant tucked away in a side street in Canmore. Stopped here for a bite during a drive back to YYC and it didn’t disappoint. The sushi here is pretty good, but the ramen is better. Sashimi portions are generous as well.
There is plenty of seating, and the staff is very nice. The facilities are ok, but could be better kept. Parking is ample, the restaurant is located next to a pay lot, and there is also streetside parking.

This place is located in the center of Canmore and very accessible. Right in front of the restaurant there is a big parking lot where you can park for free. We had dinner there tonight and had some appetizers and ramen. All was very delicious and tasty. Also my girlfriend got some sushi that was very good. The service was very friendly and on point. If you are looking for a great budget place to eat and be full… This is your place! I was very happy with my experience

A very nice place to sit and all the food were amazing! But, their service was extremely slow (too much!) and the server made a mistake. I felt they were not trained properly. And it was very odd to see the chef came out to clean up the table.
