I ended up getting the S1 – Big-Plate Beef Noodles and that’s the dish that reminds me so much of my moms cooking aside from the price. My partner got D2 Chili noodles because these two dishes are what we saw everyone else on yelp getting so we had pictures to be able to reference. This was actually my second time here but I didn’t remember what I got the first time because I didn’t take pictures or review it. The S1 noodles are pretty thick where they’re similar to hand pulled noodles but not as bouncy.
~~Parking: It’s located in a strip mall like plaza, but there’s usually plenty of parking.
~~Service: Good. They take your order, serve your food, and you pay at the front.
~~Return: I wouldn’t go out of the way just to come here to eat, but if I’m already in the area and craving noodles I would.
I like it. It’s a great place for your carbohydrate fix!
Hand stretched noodles with Good flavor and huge portions. We have to visit at least once of a month!
Easy parking and convenient access to and from freeway!
Pork and mustard greens noodle soup was delicious and big! There’s a lot of noodle there and you could probably share one between two people with a few appetizers. Soup flavor is mild and the pork is very bland with all flavors blended into the broth.
Lamb pao mo was not great, but that’s because I don’t like soggy bread in a dish. Basically the dish is cabbage, lamb, chili’s and cubes of soggy bread that’s meant to soak up the flavor. The bread was too soggy and added an odd taste to the dish. Would not recommend.
Jellyfish with cucumber was very garlicky and flavorful. Yum!
Cold broad noodles with chili oil was delicious as well. The broad noodles soaked up the flavor well and the splash of cucumber and carrots made it very refreshing!
Overall great value and even with all the dishes it was only $20 per person (between two). If we hadn’t gotten the lamb dish which was overkill, it probably would’ve been less than $15 a head. Large portions for very reasonable prices.
2. Beef tastes dry and bad!!! Not fresh at all, and very little food
3. Meats aren’t fresh
4. Noodle doesn’t have the hand pulled texture. Very likely machine made
Will definitely to come back soon!
Will keep returning for sure!
2023 – The noodles I had here were better than OK. The seating outside was pleasant and the service was good.
Would not hesitate to come back.
