I must say I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. We attended for my nieces birthday, she is a giant fan and except for a town full of our trusty blackstones, it’s almost 4 hours away to find one. We were greeted properly by the hostess who was very friendly. Our server and JP (ask for him) our amazing chef outdid themselves making this experience so much fun. Part of coming to a restaurant like this is the interaction with the employees and all of our needs were met. The restaurant is large, well appointed and exceptionally clean, a great place for small & large gatherings. While I would give five stars for both of these things, the food was the icing on the cake. I traded my miso soup to the birthday girl for her salad, she loved it and ate both bowls. The salad was light and refreshing with a flavorful mayonnaise based dressing, I didn’t even notice it wasn’t a sesame based. Large selection of Sake and mixed drinks all at a great price. There were no complaints from any of us on the main course. Large portions are standard, I tried everything but my favorite was the filet. Shrimp, Scallops and New York was awesome too. I definitely will be back.

Wife’s birthday, and She wanted to try a new restaurant. Enter Ojiya Japanese Steakhouse. Absolutely NO wait to be seated, and the waitstaff were friendly and attentive. After perusing the menu, we decided to try a little bit of everything…little did we know about the portion sizes. Our order covered the entire table with little room to spare. We ordered the Poke salad, 2 Bento Boxes, both with Beef Teriyaki-1 with Katsu chicken and 1 with a Spicy Tuna roll, Walnut Shrimp, then 4 rolls… Chico Roll, Hot Night roll, Alaska roll, and the Monster roll. To say that it was overkill on our part was an understatement, as there was TOO MUCH food to eat. The cooks outdid themselves as everything was fresh, tightly rolled, and extremely flavorful. The Bento box alone was a meal worthy of trying, but the added food was just too much to finish. The rolls were extremely huge and didn’t scrimp on the ingredients. All were decorated and prepared properly, and each was bursting with flavor. Was it worth the experience…YES. Was there more than enough food… YES. Will we be going back…Definitely, but maybe to try the personal cooking experience seated at a grill. Do not pass Ojiya by… stop in and enjoy the dining, you won’t be disappointed!

The chefs are always extremely nice and they cater to any problems you might have food wise, if it’s an allergy or you simply just don’t like onions, they got you covered
The staff is always very helpful and friendly as well. They always give good recommendations if you don’t quite know what you’d like to eat!
The food in my experience is ALWAYS to DIE FOR and I think it’s completely worth the price point.
I took my first date to this place and the atmosphere was perfect we got a bottle of Sake and it was ssooooo good!
I would recommend anyone dine here. It’s always good times no matter the occasion

Stopped in for sushi today at lunch and was blown away! The food was absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, and the portions were noticeably larger than most places around town. The atmosphere was very kid-friendly, and the staff went out of their way to be welcoming and attentive. It felt comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish.

Come here on valentines day and had a bit of a wait. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive to our table. Overall, the food was delicious and came faster than expected. Expect to spend quite a bit of money as well.

I’m here at a quiet time in the early Saturday afternoon. Service was immediate and polite, food is clean and tasty. Waitress was informative about gluten and dairy free options. Chilled sake really takes the burn out of missing my bus. Also fun to hear Billy Joel music.

Amazing experience. You can choose to be seated on the sushi side or be seated on the hibachi side. You can still order sushi if you choose the hibachi side. We did the hibachi side and the chef was so entertaining and funny. It was like having a magic show and comedy act while being served dinner. The food was delicious and fresh. Everyone dining was laughing and enjoying themselves. Staff was very friendly and we were checked on multiple times. We never had to ask for refills. This is a place you can go to dinner with friends and family and not entertain your guests yourself, but be entertained with them.

Im only giving 4 stars because our server wasnt friendly at all. We ordered the bento combo food with steak and tempura. Usually they serve the steak as one piece but last night it was sliced and even thin cut. How i wish i did take a pic . We also ordered the appetizer which is salmon gogo and that i must say its really good.
