It’s one of the best authentic japanese restaurants in South Jersey! The ambienence is casual and welcoming. The staff is extremely friendly and delivered top-tier service. Takeout is available. We dined in and had the japanese cucumber salad (highly recommend if you like spicy pickle flavors), takoyaki, ma-yu (black garlic ramen), tonkotsu (fried pork) ramen and red bean mochi ice cream. The portions are generous, and ramen can be customized to accommodate your flavor preference. A perfect place for a date night or sharing a meal with friends / family.

The in store menu said seafood broth but the website said pork bone broth I asked the server about it and she had a nasty attitude and said yes the menu says seafood broth but it’s pork bone broth. I asked them to change it and she came back and game me another bowl that had dish water in the broth. I would give no stars if I could.

Less than mediocre ramen.
I came here on the insistence of my friends and was disappointed with the food itself.
The decor and service was good and prompt, but the food left a lot to be desired.
I ordered a Tonkatsu (pork cutlet) ramen with miso broth. The noodles were very obviously instant ramen noodles. The broth is something you make at home with pre-made miso mix, and pork cutlet was generic asian store bulk cutlet. Nothing was home made, only assembled ingredients from the Asian grocery store. The egg was a nice addition though.
It’s not bad ramen, it’s okay. But for the price, I expected better than just grocery store ingredients being put together.

The food is excellent here. Ambience was quiet but it was early on a Friday for dinner. If you want high quality Asian food, particularly ramen, this is a great choice.

This restaurante is awesome, great food, great service, we even went with our toddler and they offer us a high chair, water and candies for her. The sea weed salad and the vegetables gyozas were amazing, the chicken Ramen wow, very tasty. Definitely a great place to go and near Rowan, we loved it

This is best ramen I’ve had in South Jersey. The ramen broth is delicious and the pork is always very tender. Oishii is always accommodating of my fish and mushroom allergy. The brown sugar boba is my favorite — I sometimes come here just for that even though there’s a boba place right down the street. It is a little pricey, but the meal is worth it!

This is the best ramen I’ve had in the area. They always have good portion sizes and the brown sugar boba is AWESOME here. Anytime I’m around deptford or just walking around rowan I have to stop by and get this ramen because it is 100% worth the price. The pork is sooo tender. Also the pork chashu buns are so good definitely recommend those.

Love this place. Clean, friendly, great atmosphere and the food was delicious. All appetizers were flavorful and we each had a ramen bowl, spicy ramen, seafood ramen and garlic ramen… One was better than the other. Highly recommend… We’ll be back next time we’re in town.

Rayaki Ramen VS. Oishii Ramen
I have escorted my anime waifu GF to both Rayaki and Oishii Ramen in order to determine which establishment is superior im both style and flavor. In both aspects she found Rayaki to be superior. Though Oishii wasn’t bad, we found that the appetizer we ordered at Oishii (crispy chicken) wasn’t all that impressive, and the ramen had chicken that was slightly undercooked and a broth that was a tad too salty. I personally found it to be alright. We both found the noodles at Oishii to be just as good as if not slightly better than Rayaki noodles. I would say the meat and broth are the major differences compared to Rayaki ramen. It’s worth trying and and some may prefer it. The spinning logo on the sidewalk outside earns them bonus points.

There is “good” ramen where you’ve had something better but it still passes and then there’s great ramen that differentiates itself from the latter.
This is easily great ramen and will make the good ones disappointing!
Very pleasantly surprised as I thought a ramen shop on a college campus would just be alright, this is on par with some of the amazing shops I’ve been to in Providence, RI!
Don’t hesitate with the food here, it’s phenomenal. 🙂
