Restaurant looks pretty nice coming in despite the strange cramped layout. The place they sat me at was dirty with lots of streaks on the table. I sat waiting to order and realized they were expecting me to use the QR code sticker without saying so. Learned after that there was a lunch special available but I had no idea. The food was mediocre for the price. (You can get the exact same product for less expensive lots of other places.) AVOID THE HOUSE SAKE It tasted very strange and off, super disgusting.

First time here. We were seeing the ballet so needed a place to eat nearby. We ordered the chef’s choice. Beautifully presented. The food came out in a timely manner. Everything went smoothly.

One of the best sushi I had. Many options and barely go wrong with any of the rolls. The place is not too loud which is surprising given that it is mostly full during peak time.

I liked this place! Decent place to stop by before heading over to Keller for a show. I only wish they had Sapporo on tap. Bottles are fine though!

Oishii Mika has become my go-to delivery spot for sushi in PDX. The fish is always fresh, never fishy, and the rolls I get are generous with solid cuts of fish. I love the Spicy Yellowtail roll, Spicy Albacore roll, the Specialty 911 roll with Scallops, and the fried rolls like the Las Vegas or Godzilla are chef’s kiss. Even the appetizers like tempura veggies/shrimp and crab rangoons are awesome. Moved here from LA last year, and think this is a true hidden gem!

Ordered from this place using Uber Eats so I cannot comment on service and atmosphere, but the food was just amazing.

The amaebi nigiri with the fried heads on the side is simply amazing, the food of the gods.
The 6-piece baked mussel appetizer is out of this world.
Excellent nigiri overall, I tried maguro, hamachi, ikura.

But why is the nigiri orderable by one piece instead of 2 pieces??!!?!? What is that?

Place is pricy (the ridiculous requirement to order nigiri by one piece instead of two makes it worse) but the food is on par.

Also, I just wish they had nigiri uni.

Very surprising. I wasn’t expecting much, but the price was great, the ambiance was perfect, the quality was impressive (easily some of the best sashimi in my life, coming from Hawaii and being a sushi nerd that should tell you a lot), and the service was top tier (expecting needs and checking in just before I would raise my head, the type of service that makes you wonder if the servers are CIA trained). I don’t know if I was just lucky enough to get the right day for the best catch, and the best chef, and the best server… but I’d come again every day for month just on the chance of a similar experience

Absolutely delicious sushi! So fresh and tasty! Waitresses were great about keeping us comfortable while allowing us to enjoy our conversation. What a lovely way to end 2025! Go eat there!

When I first walked in, it was actually shocking how hot it was inside, in the middle of June. The place was completely empty at 2 pm on a Saturday. So, if you cherish privacy, this is a fine spot. Far as the food, this place needs to change their name to “Mid Sushi.” If you’re expecting quality, I’ll give you a hint, don’t. You’re close to some of the best. Go there instead.

First time in Portland and the fresh sushi hit the spot. Good, decent sized cuts of fish in every bite. I had the spicy hamachi handroll, the mini Hamachi roll, and Dynamite roll. (Hamachi is my favorite.) The fish was so buttery smooth and the service was so quick and polite. I will definitely go back
