IF YOU ARE GOING TI PARK CITY YOU HAVE TO GO HERE!!

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding — the best sushi I’ve ever had, with amazing flavors and beautiful presentation.

I especially want to highlight the exceptional service. Even though an uncomfortable situation arose with a customer who greatly overreacted to a minor incident, the staff handled everything with remarkable professionalism, calm, and respect.

A special mention to Stan, who was attentive and maintained a flawless attitude throughout the situation. This restaurant truly stands out not only for its high-quality food but also for its outstanding customer service.

FOOD POISONING – Took my dad here for a celebration and all of the sushi was terrible and all super fishy/salty (normally love seafood), average beef plate and miso soup. Overall underwhelming and bad experience. We shared everything and both got sick within 45 minutes after our meal and were sick all night. Do not go here, not worth the money or time.

Amazing food and service! The fried calamari was amazing. We’ll be back!

I do want to call out that there was an incident where some guy was trying to be a bit too macho and embarrassed himself scolding the staff and other customers whom were at the bar enjoying themselves within respectable bounds. I noticed this guy left a poor review but having been there, this guy was in the wrong and embarrassed himself. His own party and family he was with should be embarrassed for him. Therapy is needed.

I noticed this person’s only review is for this place but they’re clearly a narcissist doubling down on their own overreaction.

I hope his family doesn’t have to deal with worse than what I witnessed.

The food was delicious! My niece and nephew tried sushi and fish eggs for the first time, and LOVED IT!! Shout out to Ray (the owner) for coming down and showing us some love tonight. This establishment is phenomenal!! Highly recommend.

Amazing food and waiters who handled a crazy customer with great professionalism. The crazy one is Mxbros Masala who’s story is far from what happened. We were at a table not involved in the incident. No one forcefully threw a phone at them, we saw it and a guy accidentally dropped the phone on the crazy persons table and immediately apologized. Crazy person masala started screaming at the top of his lungs that he was going to sue them and was screaming profanities at the top of his lungs. He then had his whole family walk outside without paying because the other table wasn’t immediately kicked out. The younger people in the crazy persons party at his table were visibly embarrassed. After the staff had to walk outside because they were dining and dashing the old people walked back inside while the younger ones chose to stay outside in the cold rather than rejoin their insane family member at the table. After the other party already left the crazy guy masala chose to scream at the staff AGAIN. It was a lot of 2nd hand embarrassment to witness this weirdo have a full on temper tantrum and meltdown worse than any 3 year old. The staff were friendly and kept checking on us and gave us free mochi.

DO NOT GO – EXTREMELY POOR EXPERIENCE AND IRRESPONSIBLE STAFF!!!!

Today, I visited this restaurant with my family for dinner, and unfortunately it was one of the worst dining experiences we have had. Upon arrival, we noticed a group of young individuals consuming alcohol at the bar. Initially, there was no issue; however, after some time, they became clearly intoxicated. At one point, one of them forcefully threw a phone toward our table. The phone landed on a plate and broke it, and nearly struck my aunt. This situation posed a serious safety risk and could have resulted in significant injury. It was an unacceptable and alarming incident. We respectfully requested that the individuals be removed from the premises due to the danger they were causing to other guests. While some staff members appeared to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation, one waiter in particular, named Stan, completely disregarded our concerns. Despite being clearly informed of the incident, he stated that there was “nothing to worry about,” seated them again, and continued serving them alcohol. Stan’s response demonstrated a lack of professionalism, poor judgment, and negligence. Rather than prioritizing the safety of guests, he chose to minimize the incident and favor visibly intoxicated patrons over a family, including children. Allowing alcohol service to continue after such behavior is deeply concerning. For families or anyone seeking a safe and respectful dining environment, this establishment is not recommended. The presence of intoxicated individuals combined with staff who fail to appropriately manage dangerous situations creates an unsafe atmosphere. In summary, DO NOT GO. No dining experience is worth compromising personal safety.

Delicious sushi! We were seated quickly despite a mix up with our reservation. Seaweed salad was fresh and super filling.
They had ramune as one of the beverage options, I just had to try. It was so yummy!
Great ambience in the restaurant!

Oishi is the best local joint for sushi, majority of the time their rolls are 50% off and no it’s not like their prices are to much. They’re pretty average prices for sushi rolls especially being in Park city. Try the specials off the chalkboard before getting caught up in their menu. I really enjoy the sushi and the staff here.

If you have ever had good sushi before and know what good sushi is, do not come here. For two people there was only bar seating, it was very tight to sit at with others including it’s proximity to other people. We were immediately greeted and seated though, the waitress took our initial drink and appetizer order and then never showed again until the check. The chef behind the bar counter where they roll everything took our order. We got 20 pc sashimi (chefs choice), luxury crunch roll, spicy tuna roll and Jesus roll (jalapeño one). Everything was a disappointment. Firstly, we received the sashimi plate and was not even told all the fish that was there. Half of the fish was overly fishy tasting lacking the actually flavor. I’ve never had tuna so fishy before. Not to mention some of the cuts of fish were overly thick for fish that was kind of chewy. For how much we were paying for this, I expected to have at least some fatty tuna or nicer fish and we really didn’t get that. The best fish on that plate was the Hamachi. I’ve had much better sashimi for much cheaper.

The rolls were another story. Talk about lack of flavor. Spicy tuna roll looked cute but had no flavor, was not spicy at all, didn’t taste like much to be honest. Crunch roll was probably the saddest crunch roll I’ve ever had. Just lacked the usual flavor and actual crunch that most places give with a crunch roll. The Jesus roll was the most disappointing to me. Literally tasted like nothing but rice even with a jalapeño on it. You could be the type of person to not be able to eat spicy food and you’d be fine eating this. Jalapeños added no spice or flavor. The overall roll was just bland. The only thing I really enjoyed was the miso soup at the start.

TL;DR Overpriced, extremely mediocre sushi, but hardworking staff, food came quickly. Would not come here again.
