I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding — the best sushi I’ve ever had, with amazing flavors and beautiful presentation.
I especially want to highlight the exceptional service. Even though an uncomfortable situation arose with a customer who greatly overreacted to a minor incident, the staff handled everything with remarkable professionalism, calm, and respect.
A special mention to Stan, who was attentive and maintained a flawless attitude throughout the situation. This restaurant truly stands out not only for its high-quality food but also for its outstanding customer service.
I do want to call out that there was an incident where some guy was trying to be a bit too macho and embarrassed himself scolding the staff and other customers whom were at the bar enjoying themselves within respectable bounds. I noticed this guy left a poor review but having been there, this guy was in the wrong and embarrassed himself. His own party and family he was with should be embarrassed for him. Therapy is needed.
I noticed this person’s only review is for this place but they’re clearly a narcissist doubling down on their own overreaction.
I hope his family doesn’t have to deal with worse than what I witnessed.
Today, I visited this restaurant with my family for dinner, and unfortunately it was one of the worst dining experiences we have had. Upon arrival, we noticed a group of young individuals consuming alcohol at the bar. Initially, there was no issue; however, after some time, they became clearly intoxicated. At one point, one of them forcefully threw a phone toward our table. The phone landed on a plate and broke it, and nearly struck my aunt. This situation posed a serious safety risk and could have resulted in significant injury. It was an unacceptable and alarming incident. We respectfully requested that the individuals be removed from the premises due to the danger they were causing to other guests. While some staff members appeared to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation, one waiter in particular, named Stan, completely disregarded our concerns. Despite being clearly informed of the incident, he stated that there was “nothing to worry about,” seated them again, and continued serving them alcohol. Stan’s response demonstrated a lack of professionalism, poor judgment, and negligence. Rather than prioritizing the safety of guests, he chose to minimize the incident and favor visibly intoxicated patrons over a family, including children. Allowing alcohol service to continue after such behavior is deeply concerning. For families or anyone seeking a safe and respectful dining environment, this establishment is not recommended. The presence of intoxicated individuals combined with staff who fail to appropriately manage dangerous situations creates an unsafe atmosphere. In summary, DO NOT GO. No dining experience is worth compromising personal safety.
They had ramune as one of the beverage options, I just had to try. It was so yummy!
Great ambience in the restaurant!
The rolls were another story. Talk about lack of flavor. Spicy tuna roll looked cute but had no flavor, was not spicy at all, didn’t taste like much to be honest. Crunch roll was probably the saddest crunch roll I’ve ever had. Just lacked the usual flavor and actual crunch that most places give with a crunch roll. The Jesus roll was the most disappointing to me. Literally tasted like nothing but rice even with a jalapeño on it. You could be the type of person to not be able to eat spicy food and you’d be fine eating this. Jalapeños added no spice or flavor. The overall roll was just bland. The only thing I really enjoyed was the miso soup at the start.
TL;DR Overpriced, extremely mediocre sushi, but hardworking staff, food came quickly. Would not come here again.
The service was very quick and the food was excellent. It’s a fun atmosphere. We definitely will be coming back during our stay this week. Add this to your sushi bucket list!
