I’m really disappointed with my experience. I ordered the chicken ramen but received pork instead. To make things worse, when I poured the soup, I found a dark hair in it absolutely unacceptable and unhygienic. This completely ruined my meal, and I won’t be ordering from here again. I strongly advise others to be cautious about the hygiene standards at this place.

A hidden gem! The food is delicious, not just the sushi, but also warm and veggie dishes. The pumpkin kastu is a firm favourite, as well as the spider sushi rolls. While a little way out from Reading town centre, Oishi is absolutely worth it for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is really nice to eat in, great small selection of drinks, we really enjoy coming here. Highly recommend.

Simple but great sushi, noodle and rice options with a good range of proteins including tofu steak. We went with a salmon sushi platter which didn’t disappointed; a couple of chicken ramen and a chicken katsudon – all were simply great.
Their homemade chilli oil is exceptional and should be used sparingly!

Great atmosphere, fantastic service and ultimately super fresh and favlourful food. We attended as party of 5, two couples and our 12 week our baby. They staff were very accommodating and attentive, welcoming cant thank them enough for making our visit seemeless, regarding space for our pram and adjusting the temperature in the restaurant, whilst also giving great advice about what to order.
