Great sushi buffet. I will definitely be going back. We went shortly after opening and there was barely anyone there so everything tasted fresh. About $15/person for an AYCE sushi buffet and menu items is amazing. I’ll definitely be going back when I need my sushi fix.

I was staying in Fredericksburg for the night and this was pretty close to my hotel. Even though the Sushi is served buffet style it seems to be made fresh because there were sushi chefs in the back behind the counter making it. The shrimp hibachi was great. Overall four out of five.

I’m not sure what the big hype of this place is. Honestly all the food is bland, I could have bought frozen Japanese food at the grocery store and made it better.
Not coming back. Although it’s only $24.99, 10/10 do not recommend eating at this place. Unless you want to eat bland food. If grey had a taste it would be this food.

My wife and I went to Oishi on a Saturday. There were at least 20-24 different types of sushi available, buffet style, as well as several salads. You can also order gyoza, fried shrimp, crab rangoons, fried rice, something from the hibachi, as well as ice cream as many times as you want.

The hibachi chicken was delicious. It came with white or fried rice and was the size of a meal on its own.

Though all of the food was delicious, with a price of $23.99 on the weekend; I would only return for a special occasion.

I would rate this restaurant 3.5 stars.

I appreciate the cleanliness of this buffet restaurant. Adult is $16.99 for all you can eat buffet. Drink is not included. They have plenty of seating area. The server pretty much deliver all entries and desserts. They only food items you can get yourself are sushi and salad items.

I am a ramen lover. The first thing I ordered was spicy Tonkotsu ramen. I noticed that they slimmed down the offerings choices and also ingredients while the pricing seems higher now than Yelp reviewers listed.

My spicy Tonkotsu ramen was not spicy. The broth is okayed but the ramen was not chewy like I expected and was kind of overcooked. There was no egg or seaweed. The char siu slices were good.

I also ordered beef yakisoba noodle. This dish was all wrong. It lacked flavor and again the noodle was not right. It has no texture. I think Costco yakisoba is way better than theirs.

Their appetizers were just okay. I do like the Japanese fried chicken nuggets. Their sesame balls with red bean paste were good but were kind of light color and very small. Their fried donut was good.

I am not a fan of sushi. I did try one plate. They seem good but I can’t really judge.

I also sampled the orange ice cream. It was really orange sherbert. Their coffee cake was very good.

Mediocre and overrated japanese food. We stopped in for dinner tonight. It is a sushi buffet. You can order off the take out menu and eat in. We started with chicken Karaage. It did not live up to the namee. It was not seasoned like the dish usually would be. We alao ordered Oishi Yakitori, which tasted nothing like the tradtional dish. The meat was dry and over done. The shrimp was rubbery. The noodles were standard ramen type noodles. This dish was lacking on every level. I ordered tempura vegetables, they were oily and the batter was not light like typical tempura. I also had the tonkatsu ramen. The broth lacked flavor, the egg was over cooked and the pork was okay. Overall this was a big disappointment and we canmot recommend it.

We had a fantastic experience at Oishi Japanese Cuisine in Fredericksburg! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.

One of the highlights? The All You Can Eat Sushi Buffet — and it did not disappoint! The variety was impressive, and every item we tried was fresh, beautifully made, and absolutely delicious. It’s such a great value for the quality you receive.

The sushi was bursting with flavor and the presentation was top-notch. We loved the mix of classic favorites and unique rolls that made the meal exciting for the whole family.

The service was excellent — attentive, friendly, and efficient. You can tell the staff truly cares about making sure every guest has a great experience.

We’re so glad we discovered this gem. Perfect for sushi lovers and families alike. We’ll definitely be coming back for more!

First of all the Beef was incredible, wish I didn’t get full so quick.

About $30 per person for all you can eat.
(Dessert included)

The building’s layout was also really good.
Sushi bar in the middle. Right side had salads, then sushi, front side has even more sushi, and some more on the left side but then you have the fruit section.

Service was also really good and it never felt like we were forgotten.

Will definitely come again and would recommend.

I have eaten here several times now.

It is an all you care to eat which is surprising for the price point and the quality of the food.

You can also order off of their menu as well.

So many options.
Salads are very good and plenty of options to make most people happy.

Not a special occasion
Just a simple set down offering all the sushi you can eat.

This was my second time here. The service was great, the sushi was fantastic ! I like the that they have different entrees. They offer appetizers like chicken kerranges & goyzas/dumplings, they also have hibachi, udon noodles & ramen. In all of those entrees, the servers bring those to you, for the sushi you get it yourself. I really like the seafood udon noodles and the monkey sushi roll, it’s plantain with imitation crabmeat wrapped on the outside, I know it sounds odd but that was a unique sushi I’ve had. You gotta check that out. I had excellent experience there but when it comes to the check, what is up with the 11% tax charges ? Like we didn’t leave any food behind.
