The food here was great while not being too expensive. The hot plum sake was delicious and none of the food was overcooked. The parking in this area can be pretty daunting and you may find yourself walking a few blocks. The staff was very friendly and the food is very filling.
The serving bento plates are starting to look a little beat up but overall it was a great experience. Will definately be coming again.

This is my favorite sushi place ever!! I am often based at the Redmond Tanker Base during fire season and I love coming to Redmond just to come to this sushi place. The staff is great Jasmine and Chy are super sweet and the sushi chefs, First, S, Bert, and Peter are the best!! I went on a trip to Japan recently and I thought that the sushi at Oishi was better! Best sushi place in Redmond. Safe, clean and fresh. Be ready to wait longer than expected. Even if you order a take out order via their online site. Its good food! Beer are always cold!

I was a bit surprised by how good Oishi was on my first visit, and my second visit lived up to it. I tried the 007 roll this time, and it was some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The ramen I had on my last visit was excellent as well. Service was quick and friendly, the bathrooms were clean, and the place was well maintained. Seating is limited—maybe forty seats—but it’s worth the wait. The chef here is a true virtuoso.

(1/17/25): Figured since I’ve gone several more times I figured I should update my review. The variety of sushi here is insane. I had the hurricane roll this time and Miso soup which were delicious and beautifully served.
I will keep going here until I run out of money. I love all the food you guys make.

Located right at downtown Redmond. The place by itself is okay. Not fancy or anything like that. The chef location is at the back of the restaurant and that’s pity.
Food, was very good, not the best I have but yet, we are in central Oregon!
Service, really good! They keep asking us if everything is okay and if we need anything else. But not too much, like they didn’t bother us which was great. (Like they knew I am a food critic )

Excellent food in a great environment. A bit on the pricy side, but overall well worth it. The service was excellent, speedy, and friendly.
The sushi was super tasty and very well presented, and the other dish we got was just as good. The dessert was flavorful and beautiful. Overall, highly recommended!
