Do not get the chicken plate. And understand that if you do they will give you three TINY pieces of chicken the size of the smallest wing you’ve ever seen. The collards taste like chemicals . Literally more bone than meat. My son’s chicken tender plate taste so old! The fries are HORRIBLE and the tenders are so burnt he can’t even eat them. Just overall not a good experience at all.

The smoked chicken sandwich…what can I say! My tongue nearly beat me to death trying to get another bite! I got the sweet bbq sauce to put on it, but after one bite without realized it didn’t need any sauce. Delicious.
Service was excellent as well. The girl behind the counter explained the menu well. Went to the restroom to wash my hands and food was ready when I got back. In and out in less than 5 minutes!

Excellent food! Excellent prices! Excellent service! 10/10- would recommend. Brisket was a bit dry, but we did arrive late in that day. Sauces were exceptional. Will return! Total bill $40.

This is my first time coming here for tacos and draft beer. The reception when I entered, the place was very inviting. I was easily able to find the menu items that I want. The staff was very friendly, and my order came out in about 10 minutes. The taco was super tasty and the draft beer was nice cold and crisp with good body and flavor. I would recommend that you try this please.

Update 4/2023 we went again and it was not good there was three in our party and no one thought it was great.
Oink Joint is back open after the fire …. It looks different and the Mac and Cheese was different but the barbecue tots and the barbecue chicken was on point. We had Brunswick stew also very tasty. They have gluten free options!
I was sad to see the historic parts of the building have been white washed and no decor to speak of. Maybe they are still figuring it out

This was our first time at this Barbecue restaurant. They serve a pork Reuben sandwich which was the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. I ordered two to go and took one home for my daughter and another one for me.

Visited yesterday while on that side of town. I got the slider trio and brisket and pork sliders. Meat wasn’t as tender as I would have liked but they were good. I got all 3 sauces but vinegar and sweet were my favs. Sweet tea wasn’t McDonald’s sweet but it was doable. I got the brisket and the kogi taco to go. Will eat those tonight. Tasted the Brunswick stew it was tasty

My only complaint is how small the tacos are. Tater tots in photo give you an idea of how there was barely any meat; more coleslaw than anything. I went up to ask if this was normal and was told yes, they weigh everything out. Unless you want to drop $20 on 5 tacos to feel satisfied, choose another food option.
