O.Henry’s has been roasting and serving coffee in the Birmingham area since 1993. And in that time, we’ve grown from our single flagship store in downtown Homewood to several locations scattered across the Magic City. Our mission is simple: to provide great coffee to people in order to create connections and build community.
So whether you’re in the mood for an iced cafe latte or a piping hot cup of one of our single source, point of origin roasts, you’ll always find it at O.Henry’s.
Relaxed local coffeehouse chain serving espresso drinks, breakfast, sandwiches & desserts.

Normally it’s great, but my drink today (same thing I always order) wasn’t made correct today. To be $7+ dollars and not made to the standard

The aroma as soon as you walk in says everything. The service is just as amazing as the coffee and you cannot beat a coffee shop that roasts their own beans with excellence. Only here two days and we came back in spite of other shops in the area.

My days of frequenting O’Henrys are coming to an end. When you think you can charge 5.95 for a muffin in Birmingham Alabama and customers be okay with it, you have lost your mind. It’s not the money it is the principal. This is taking advantage of your customers. You want to charge 80% more than Crestline Bagel ($3.35 had to look up price) for a similar product, then I will go there and buy my coffee, beans, and muffin.

I love coming to O’Henrys when I’m visiting my hometown from out of town, but this experience with the barista was awful! Always have a pleasant experience here but not today, the barista taking our order was rude & not friendly at all.

It’s a coffee shop. All their coffees and other drinks are very good. When I’m in the area and need a hit of caffeine this is a good place to go.

A Birmingham classic that I don’t know how I’ve gone so long without visiting! Very trendy inside. Lot of working professional-types gathered for meetings before their trip into the office. A bit crowded – but only because the coffee is so good.
Loved the coffee bean wall! Was able to find the perfect blend to take home with me to have some O’Henry’s at home.

The floors are filthy…. the lighting in the loft is terrible… check out the base boards at front counter…the muffins are extremely under cooked…

I love O’henry’s flavored coffees (love Jazzy Java) and their baked goods (Conecuh Biscuit is my favorite!) ! I try to stop every time I am driving through Birmingham.

It was my first time visiting! Small coffee shop that smells so good when you walk in the door. Lots of choices for delicious gourmet fresh roasted coffee! I tried the iced Turtle deluxe and it was pretty good! Atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable, service was fast and customer service was friendly and helpful!
