After searching for a place to eat and trying many expensive overrated restaurants we found OhanaQ. Service was excellent and our server, Noah, was great. Food was reasonably priced and delicious, especially the Turkey platter and pulled pork. Avoid the high cost burgers joints and head on over to OhanaQ. Aloha!

We stopped here on a rainy afternoon before leaving town. The clean, covered back patio and delicious BBQ were both excellent. The BBQ baked potatoes were massive-covered in the meat of your choice along with cheese and other toppings with a creamy sauce. I highly recommend them. The staff was very helpful when I had questions about gluten free items for a family member. In our party, we had both the pulled pork and brisket, and they were both juicy and flavorful. The food came out quickly and everything was very fresh!

The food was equally as incredible. I got the brisket sandwich and it came with some tortilla chips.
The sandwich was 10/10.. brisket was juicy and flavorful plus the other goodies they put on the sandwich. I’m a fan. If you’re in the area, give it a try. If you live here, come here often.

The food was good. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately I can’t leave a high rating for this establishment however. Charging a hidden 3.5% “inflation fee” that isn’t disclosed (at least not clearly or properly) on receipts is insane. You already adjusted your prices – why are you tacking on additional fees to make more money and make your prices look lower than they are?
On top of that, a tip screen on a walk in to-go order is crazy. Ok, everyone’s doing it, fine. But STARTING at 18%, and going up from there?? No thanks. Not on a take out order where no service was even rendered. Staff didn’t come take my order at the table, bring me my food, pour my drinks, clean up after me, etc.
These establishments that nickel and dime and charge added fees and want customers to pay “tips” to the “employees” (not saying this restaurant does it but it’s been found that many establishments don’t pass the tips on these screens to the employees) should continue to receive negative reviews until they change this behavior. Show a clear price up front from your product, and don’t expect your customers to tip employees (unless they are receiving full sit-down service).

I’ve wanted to eat here ever since I saw them open! They did not disappoint! The food is awesome! The BBQ sauce is incredible! Great outside seating. I was surprised this place was not packed! The smoked Mac & cheese was very good!

First off, the pork belly candy plate with smoked Mac and cheese was simply amazing. The BBQ aioli and the vinegar Carolina BBQ dips were not overpowering and did not overpower and already supremely smoked.

Authentic, delicious and flavorful bbq joint. They offer 3 amazing sauces, I’d recommend the OG but if you like spicy you won’t be disappointed. The outdoor seating is very nice and comfortable, highly recommending trying this place out.

Great bbq spot located in the north Kona district. A varied menu including ribs, brisket, pulled pork, pasta dishes and even tacos and nachos. The atmosphere is nice with a few tables out front plus a large, covered outdoor area in the back. I got a half rack of pork spareribs, rice and smoked mac and cheese, delicious and all for $21!!

Oh my god the brisket was so good.
We had a combo box of brisket and pulled pork. The brisket was so good we were almost regretting not getting a full box of brisket . This was despite the pulled pork being very good and tasty in its own right. The meats were all juicy , tender and seasoned just right. We chose the baked beans as a side and it went well with the pulled pork.
Would definitely go again if I have the chance. They sold out crispy pork and ribs by the time we got there. Apparently they smoke a new batch every day and once it’s gone it’s gone, so don’t go too late.
The outside where u order food isn’t so well lit, so you might miss it if you come after dark. In fact it almost looked closed when we walked up to it after undown. Inside where you sit however is well lit and almost seems like a completely different place.

We stopped in for dinner on our first night! The food was simply amazing! Our daughter requested (over and over again) to come back for the Cajun Shrimp! It was hands down the best shrimp they have ever had! All of the food was amazing! Highly recommend coming in!
