Amazing food + island vibes! The mocktails were refreshing, grilled salmon perfectly done, and the fried + katsu chicken were crispy and flavorful. Loved the breaded mushrooms too. Great spot to relax, eat, and enjoy!

Really wonderful place! Super nice staff. Crab rangoons were top notch. We also loved the spam musubi and excellent fries. Very fun drinks. Pain killer was awesome. We brought kids and they loved it too.

We hopped in here to have a drink and get some appetizers to go. Its a Sunday afternoon at 3:00, so we expected it to be kinda chill. Unfortunately upon arrival, the place was empty and no one acknowledged us for a couple minutes. I even asked if they were open. The drinks were fun but after 40 minutes and a few times him telling us the food will be a few minutes, we asked to cancel the food. He even answered a phone call whilr working the bar which was so odd. We were offered no water and the other couple who came in 15 minutes after us got their food before. Plus, the other girl even ordered the shrimp like I did and somehow it wasn’t ready. I had hopes and was very hungry so I’m bummed! I think they should do a better job at customer service and communication. Drinks were cute and fun but I have no idea what the food is like because we never got it.

Today was our first time here. It was 10° outside and we were immediately transported into instant vacation mode. The atmosphere was so cozy. Kaitlyne, our bartender, was very helpful recommending what we should try. Everything was delicious. The Katzu Chicken was amazing! We will definitely be back!!!!

If you’re looking for great flavor and a relaxing atmosphere, this is it! The katsu chicken has the perfect crunch, and the grilled salmon was moist and delicious. I also loved the variety, from the breaded mushrooms to the creative mocktails. It’s rare to find a place that balances ‘island vibes’ with such high-quality cooking. 10/10.

Great vibes. Amazing decor. Staff was amazing. Food was spectacular. We had the loaded fries, musubi and meat lover plate. Meats were tender and I think it was the best French fry I have ever eaten. 10 out of 10, would recommend!

The owners were working when we went in on Christmas Eve. What a wonderful couple. We enjoyed chatting with them and getting to know them. The Teriyaki Beef was phenomenal. We also enjoyed the crab Rangoon. Delicious drinks and fun environment. Highly recommend.

Ordered takeout during the soft opening. Small order (only 1 entree) was accurate, packaged well, still hot, and ready within a few minutes of the time promised. The owner-operator delivered it to me at the restaurant counter (was also the one to take my order by phone). He was friendly, and made sure I had everything needed. I ordered the Meat Lover trio of BBQ meats ($20 at the time, as the most expensive entrée on the menu). I opted for the salad (instead of the Rice-Macaroni combo). The meats and sauce (small cup sufficient) came in 1 separate container from the salad. The meats were all tender, and flavorful. While the side salad (definitely fresh) was larger than most side salads, the amount of meat was far smaller than I would pay for at that price compared to some neighboring restaurants with, at minimum, equally good taste and quality. I will certainly return and try other entrées, as the quality of their food and service was definitely on point, especially considering a soft opening. Where some restaurants haven’t worked their kinks out at opening, they were fully staffed, and very ready in every aspect! The dining space is small, yet has some fantastic deco and great ambience. All tables were full at the time of my pickup, along with another party like me waiting for takeout. The patio dining in front, and the garage style window door open during warmer weather, will be very enjoyable during warmer weather. The drink menu also looked fun. Overall, the first impression for me is that this is another great addition to the Downtown Delaware food scene.
