I got the pork and the katsu chicken with mac and rice. I honestly thought it was going to be good because of the reviews. I do have high standards for Hawaiian food because I have my main places I go to. However, the mac and pork was way to salty and the katsu sauce was gelatinous and had like zero flavor and was more sweet. The katsu chicken was also a little tough. They also placed the hot meat right on top of the mac. Nothing really tasted good and was either too bland or too salty. I also got the donuts. They were really greasy and had barely any sugar on it like described.

I love coming here! The food is so good and fresh! Service is always friendly and fast, 15 minutes or less!! I always get the spam musubi or the chicken katsu plate and they never disappoint!!

I was so surprised by the quality of the poke bowl at Ohana. All of the ingredients was fresh and the flavor is well balanced. I think it is even better than Pokeworks. If it is not because I have relocated to a different city, I definitely will come back.

I swung by Ohana Hawaiian BBQ the other day, and the food was a real hit—fresh, tasty, and definitely felt like it was cooked up right before serving. The musubi had an awesome flavor, and the donuts were clearly fried up fresh.

But here’s the thing: the service was a bit of a letdown. The two young girls at the counter barely said a word when I walked in. No “hello,” no nothing. And once I got my food, they were both buried in their phones. Meanwhile, the place could’ve used a good clean up—floors, tables, you name it.

If they jazzed up the dining room a bit and got those girls to pay attention, Ohana Hawaiian BBQ would be top-notch. But until then, it’s just good eats with a side of meh service.

The service as mentioned in another review was the same two girls that served me today. Super disappointed with them.

One might not expect such a huge selection at a Poke Bar serving Hawaiian food because this one tops all others I have ever seen. So many choices of great ingredients, and everything is same day fresh! My preference is to start with combo of fried rice and salad and add seafood ingredients including spicy salmon, shrimp, scallop, seaweed and caviar, plus edamame beans, shredded red cabbage and a topping of ponzu sauce or the spicy mayonnaise. You can’t get a better tasking, healthy meal on this side of Fort Worth in my opinion. I eat here frequently.

This place is overpriced and poor quality. Save yourself the disappointment and go to Hawaiian bros.
I am not a competitor.
I spent $38 dollars here and your cook forgot my veggies. When I asked the staff, they could not seem to find the cook and brought me a bunch of raw cabbage and carrots. I walked away disappointed in the flavorless luao pork.
The only thing I thought was good was the katsu and the sauce was cold. Sorry about your luck. As a former chef I know how hard restaraunt management can be.

Overall really good place for poke bowls. The price is fair, the portions are good, and they don’t charge extra to add everything like avocado. Highly recommend giving them a shot and getting the spicy tuna and salmon.

This is one of my go to spots for poke and I’m a poke enthusiast. Once you arrive at the store, they have a poke list where you choose what options you’d like on your poke. Once you turn in your list, they make it fairly quickly and you have the option of leaving a tip once it’s time to pay. The serving size is fairly large. The presentation is colorful and looks stunning. The ingredients are fresh; out of all the times I’ve been here, I have never seen any old looking ingredients in my bowl. You create your own bowl, they don’t have preset bowls that you order from. There is a large variety of toppings and sides to choose from and your choice is unlimited. Not to mention it tastes fantastic. In my opinion, this place is one of the better places in Fort Worth to get poke from that’s not white washed.

Food? Great! Worth the money for someone on the go and I couldn’t get a larger portion anywhere else, but the service??? Far beyond disappointing, every worker there looks absolutely miserable to be on shift, the young man who gave me my food practically refused to look at me in the eye as he gave me my food and said… NOTHING.

No “welcome in, what can we get started?” Nothing, the music was low and trendy mall music I HATE hearing, the workers are always so standoffish and unfriendly and I can’t ever bring anyone here without feeling like they just want us to leave.

Order to go and get out.

Cute little place, very quiet and service was fine. They didn’t seem very busy when we walked in, as they took our order immediately. My husband had Chicken Teriyaki and I ordered the Chicken Katsu plate. When we got home and sat down to eat I opened my plate to find that the chicken was instead incredibly dry, totally flat and tough.
I’m assuming it was premade and sat under a heat lamp for an extended amount of time. I’m not knocking the cook for prepping food, but anyone could’ve glanced at this meat and known it was not meant for serving anymore.
Everything else was great. I loved the macaroni salad – however my husband said it left a strong aftertaste in his mouth – and the rice was made perfectly. He also loved his Chicken Teriyaki and donuts.
I wouldn’t have even written this had it not been for the fact that my meal alone was close to $13 – which is pretty pricey to come home and find that most of your meal is inedible.
Sorry to say I probably won’t be returning, considering the off-putting first impression.
