YOU GOTTA TRY THIS!!!! Best Hawaiian in San Diego! I litterally have tried every hawaiian bbq place and this one was perfect. Chicken was perfectly cooked, macaroni salad is different I like the macaroni they use perfectly made love the texture… and of course cant forget their chili sauce, I usually ask for Siracha but what they had was better.

We ordered from Obana Hawaiian for my cousin’s Hawaiian-themed birthday and it was perfect! The chicken katsu was still crunchy by the time we ate, the mac salad was just right, and the food overall was delicious. She was so happy with it!

amazing service, amazing food, incredible atmosphere and incredible flavors!! i was so surprised by the variety offered here, everything at such a great price and made hot to order, my food was quality and so fresh. i NEED to come here more often, my very first visit left such a great impression on me and my partner and i’m astounded by its volume as it’s truly a hidden gem.

My family and I have been eating here for ages, management has changed but all in great favor. Food and service are always on point. This isn’t your L&L, it’s way better. Bigger portions and better customer service. Before the Military, I came here religiously for the BBQ Mix plate, the kalbi short ribs never misses. Mahalo cheeeeeee

The food here is really good, we try to order maybe once every couple months. Problem is, everytime we call to place an order, the phone is endlessly “busy” or they just never answer. I end up having to come and order in person and theres hardly anyone ever here so its not like they’re super busy. Once, I decided to call them while I was sitting in the dining area, and the girl just let the phone keep ringing and ringing. I called several times to see if she’d pick up and she didnt bother. There weren’t any other customers either. Another time I called while I was here and the phone line kept ringing busy and again, I’m the only customer in here and the cashier dude is just scrolling on his phone. I even tried to order thru Doordash and it said it was closed but I knew it wasnt. I ended up coming in person to order. To 2 guys here today have me a weird look when I walked in like they weren’t expecting customers, but it was a whole hour before their closing time.
