We had a fantastic experience at Ohana Japanese Restaurant. The food was excellent across the board, beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, with a special mention to Luke, whose friendly and professional service really stood out. We left feeling well looked after and very satisfied. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

Ordered a crunchy chicken roll- no avocado, and 2 chicken katsu curry, food was cooked fresh and ready when I arrived for pick up- unfortunately they made a mistake with the chicken roll but was quickly rectified. Lovely staff, great location. Highly recommended for anyone who wants some of the best Japanese food on the Gold Coast. The fresh food from Ohana’s really hit the spot. I felt the food was 5 stars, my partner said 4. Do not go past the Dragon sushi if you’re a seafood lover! As locals, we will definitely return.

Very busy place. All food we ordered were good. We waited for more than 45min to get tempura which is unacceptable. I had Ohana Ramen which was like Garlic Ramen I thought. Service was average as they were sooooo busy. Next time I would try lunch time to see how busy they are how good they are. Busy means popular I guess!!! Overall, all foods were tasty.

This is one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants I’ve been to on the Gold Coast, the flavours are beautiful and the portions are larger than expected, the prices seem a little higher but I think that is reflected well in the quality and quantity served. The staff are also very lovely
