It is not in a good location for such a good restaurant. There were too many empty offices and renovations around.

The food was very good.
I didn’t like the menu option of sushii and sashimi combo going from a regular combo for 36$
To
Combo and 2 rolls for 46.
I thought it was a small meal for the 36$
And too much for 46$.
I barely finished mine, and I don’t like to take sushi to go when I travel.

I liked it. The service was beyond expected.

Great whole in the wall. The food was fresh, customer service was excellent. Definitely worth going back to. The price is reasonable.
We love the paper plates..lol

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s elegant and cozy on the inside. Feels like a Japanese version of an old fashioned breakfast diner from the 50s. Food isn’t too expensive, but high quality. It feels like they put all their effort into making good sushi, so the location doesn’t matter as much.

I had the tuna roll, salmon skin roll (my favorite), and miso soup

Amazing service and food! The server is so sweet, the food is to die for good, and the atmosphere is so cozy! The bathrooms are super clean. It’s such a great little place! It’s like a little gem and don’t let the outside location fool you! I highly recommend this little hole in the wall.

Was very slow. It’s overpriced and I’ve had better. There was a homeless guy I bought dinner for, and the staff wanted him to stay outside. I asked him to sit with us, to eat and stay out the cold. Apparently he’s caused problems there by intimidating others, and the staff said he’s not welcome, but they don’t call law enforcement either. I spent $70 for lunch. A bit over the top, but we got 2 apps, one was the calamari and it was good. The potstickers weren’t made as I asked them to be, but still ok. Mine are better at home. Dynamite roll was good. Spider roll was not. Plum wine was good. The homeless guy ordered shrimp fried rice but they said he could have chicken fried rice. Idk why? I paid for it. Anyway, I am a little torn at how to view or feel the situation bc I don’t live or frequent that area, so I’m unsure of the history. I just know that I invited him to sit and eat bc he’s also a person, and I would want to be treated better than a dog. I was taking responsibility for him as my guest and was met with hesitation and felt it was rude to put him out. I can’t be 100% either way in this situation. Jesus chilled with the worst people in society. So I feel like I was right. They felt they were right. I took offense to the way he was treated. Again, I’ve no background info, so who’s to say my perception was on point. I’ll just avoid this place and not have the opportunity to take offense to situations

Absolutely, perfect. The couple running the place is sweet as honey. The food is EXCELLENT… My only complaint would be that they would not sell me a cup of their amazing salad dressing to have at home.
