I had an amazing experience with this barbecue and soul food spot. From the first bite, you can tell the food is made with love and real skill. The barbecue was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, and the soul food sides were seasoned perfectly not bland, not overpowering, just right. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, like real comfort food you don’t get everywhere anymore. The portions were generous, the food was hot and well prepared, and the overall quality was amazing. You can tell this is a business that truly cares about their craft and their customers. I’ll definitely be ordering again and recommending this place to friends and family. Hands down, I’ve been chasing this food truck since he was on Main Street. I finally got my hands on a plate. When I say this place did not disappoint it’s one of the best bbq spots I’ve been to in Jacksonville. The chicken seasoned to perfection, the collard greens taste just like southern GA greens (atl native here lol), and the Mac wasn’t your typically macaroni it was actually good macaroni that you get at home, and the bake beans was chefs kiss. I wanted the banana pudding or cobbler, but it wasn’t none at the moment, so I decided to try the strawberry cake. I have never been a fan of strawberry cake, but if you like strawberry cake, definitely try it out. I’m definitely coming back here for my toddler to try it out. They are meat eaters. First of all when I got there it was 11:45 a.m. 15 minutes before they opened so I had to wait as the gentleman Mr Omar I believe asked me to do no problem, it was about 12:13 when I finally got service, so when he tells you he opens at 12:00 he really don’t, he opens between 12:05 and 12:15 p.m. because he put out his sign while you’re standing there waiting to order, his concern was with sign placement.
The next thing is the food was hot, food look good, my sister and I are connoisseurs of barbecue, we know that it was microwaved are bread was so very hard from being microwaved to death, the container was warped from being in the microwave so long, and that it was yesterday’s barbecue which is the worst thing you can do for your customer and the first customer at that, not a good impression, it was yesterday’s collard greens obvious it was yesterday’s barbecue just put in a microwave and put sauce over them and give them to me which I did not like.just put in a microwave and put sauce over them and given to me which I did not like.
something told me to wait until about 5:00 or 6:00 p.m. I was going to try oh heavenly barbecue a couple of months ago but I just didn’t have the time,

If you are looking for the best BBQ place in Jacksonville, this is it! The meat drips off the bone and is so delicious! The potato salad is top notch good! Homemade mac and cheese and on certain days the most delectable cakes that are moist and delicious! Plus a large enough portion that will fill you up! Don’t go to other BBQ places because they don’t compare to Oh So Heavenly BBQ! 10/10 WILL BE ALWAYS COMING BACK!

Wound up stuck in Jacksonville for over a week. Stopped while driving by and was hungry . If you forget thank Jesus for your food, you remember after one bite it was phenomenal!!! Had to go back before leaving back to Indiana one more time . Yum !

AMAZINGGG i convinced my mom to drive an hour to try it and it did not disappoint. Ordering and waiting for the food was so easy and fast. The ribs were falling off the bone, the Mac and cheese was so good, along with the collard greens you could tell everything was taken time with cooking. You also get a lot of food. The guy running the truck was so sweet I would recommend 10/10 worth the drive and will be back again.
AND THE CAKEEEE oh my lord. We tried the key lime cake and I wanted to get back on the highway to order the whole cake and save it for myself . It was so soft and the flavor wasn’t too sweet it was literally perfect you have to add on a cake with your meal.

Some of the best food I’ve had in years since I’ve been here in Jax. This helped take me back to the days when I first moved to Jacksonville when I thought ALL the food was good. 10/10 recommended. Meat was good and fall off the bone. Beans were super sweet and Mac and cheese balanced it all out. The plate wasn’t skimp neither. Great price great food great customer service!
