Not too sweet. Their drinks in my opinion are better!
The sugarcane is also so good and fresh!!!!!!!!
The banh mi was not bad!! A large portion! We tried the tofu, bbq pork, and beef.
The jalapenos can be spicy! ️
The tofu I wish had a little more flavor and it was a bit burnt
The bbq pork is char siu pork!!
The banh mi is a little more saucy than other banh mis. The pickled veggies were carrots only not daikon.
Otherwise, I loved the drinks and wouldnt mind the banh mis again 🙂
Update: also got the BBQ pork banh mi today and it’s…. not great.
Good: lots of filling, both the meat and the veggies*, bread has great texture. Absolute girth of a banh mi frfr
Bad: for a place with pate in the name, there’s a distinct lack of pate flavor. The pork it self is not too dry but lacking in flavor, zero char. The cucumber and jalapenos were cut too thick, it’s good that you get more of it but it kinda fighting the protein for main character role. The pickled veggies might have been too pickled? Since there was a sourness that kinda took over every bite for me.
Summary: good drinks, banh mi could use some improvement. Will definitely be back for drinks, will try banh mi again in the future to see if it gets better
(Note, the cucumber was peeled, which is a first for me, nothing wrong with it, it’s just kinda odd)
