Food is ALWAYS amazing no matter what I’ve ordered. I’m a sucker for the fried catfish with shrimp and rice stir fry. Oh, all of the meal options are super affordable and can easily be shared while still being full. The whole staff is amazing! Chic (the owner), Nicki and John John. When you walk in, you’re greeting warmly, like how it is when you walk in your favorite cousins house! Highly recommend!

This meal was amazing driving almost 2 hrs to try new cuisine in the north Jersey area and I was not disappointed. I got the oxtail jerk chicken cheesesteak over a loaded potato smh chefs kiss the onions and peppers were grilled to perfection and I am not normally not a fan of “secret sauces” but they made me a believer. I cannot wait to visit again

The food was decent but the customer service was terrible. I did not have to wait too long for my order but the cashier (a lady with red locs) was super rude about something I misunderstood when ordering online. This was my first time ordering from this establishment and it left a terrible first impression.
Apparently when you select the option for “extra sauce” within the meal they add the extra to the food itself. There is an option to add extra sauce at the bottom of the menu and I was told that selecting that option means you get the sauce on the side. As a first time customer I had no idea that there would be a difference.
After getting my order and checking the bag I informed her that the extra sauce was missing. She checked her screen and said I did not order extra sauce. I showed her my e receipt showing I paid an extra $4 for 4 sauces on the side and she stated that I did not and that selecting that option meant I wanted extra sauce on the entree itself. Again as a first time customer I would have never known that. After trying to get clarification (for the next time I would have ordered online) she caught an attitude and became rude; so much so that the cook had to step in and explain it properly. I don’t know if she was having a bad day but her attitude was terrible.

I really didnt want to leave this review but I’m a bit disappointed. I used to order from here before it’s was OMG it’s was actually called lick the top. The food was made with love and flavor. Its been a while and I decided to have the bourbon salmon and rice. It was not giving. The salmon seemed be be seasoned with way to much pepper and not well cooked, no other flavor and they just poured that bourbon sauce over everything. Rice was bland and the brocolli didnt even have the heads on them just shredded stems.Not much love in the cooking anymore unfortunately

It’s all about the energy of the place! OMG needs to become a landmark! You cannot visit NJ without going here! Chicc The Comedian, the owner is an absolute vibe! When you walk in, he makes you feel like family! You would swear you knew him for 10 years plus already. The food: fantastic! Great value for money! More than enough goodness in each serving. The service: award winning! The staff: brilliant! So glad I found abut this! Please know, if you go here once, you will be back two or three times or more! I went twice in a week! Yummy.

Food was really good service was fast and good. This is a carry out establishment. Had the rice bowl with chicken, broccoli, and shrimp with yum yum sauce on top. Family had bbq wings and fries and sweet chili sauce wings and fries. The chicken was great bc it was still crispy with the sauce..not soggy like some other places. The sauce was really good and food was fresh and seasoned well. OMG! You have to try it!

I recently had an unfortunate experience at OMG Restaurant that I feel compelled to share. As someone who actively supports Black-owned businesses, I was disappointed by the level of service and food quality I encountered during my visit.
I waited over an hour for my order, which consisted of chicken and French fries topped with cheese. Given the simplicity of the dish, I had high expectations. However, when my food finally arrived, it was cold and clearly mishandled. To my dismay, the owner touched my fries with bare hands, which is concerning from a hygiene perspective. The fries were then hastily dropped back into the fryer, resulting in a burnt and unappetizing meal.
While I tried to remain understanding, this experience highlighted significant areas for improvement. It appears that payment in advance is a policy to avoid refunds, which adds to the frustration. Additionally, the lack of professionalism demonstrated by the staff, particularly in terms of food safety and cleanliness—such as not wearing hairnets—raises serious concerns.
I believe this situation could serve as a valuable teaching moment for the establishment. It is imperative for restaurants to prioritize hygiene and customer service to ensure a positive dining experience. I did not consume the food and hope that management will take steps to address these issues for the benefit of future customers.

Here’s an honest review. I saw an Instagram video about this place and wanted to give it a try. So I visited on August 31st. I purchased the crabmeat deep fried corn, a seafood cheesesteak sub, and a Philly cheesesteak sub for a total of $39.45. There was a wait about 15-20 mins, which wasn’t terrible. The food was good, but not good enough to have me return for a 2nd time. I enjoyed the deep-fried corn even tho there was plenty of shell in the crabmeat. What helped with my decision not to return was the owner’s demeanor & interaction with me (a paying customer). I originally thought he was intoxicated due to his slurred speech, but I didn’t smell any alcohol. He was speaking extremely loud, drowning out the lady behind the counter calling orders. There’s no seating, so I’m standing along the wall with other customers waiting for my order. He announced out loud to no one in particular that Good Morning America emailed him & that he was about to be rich. So, after I received my order and I’m heading out to my car (still talking to a friend on the phone), this ridiculous guy said to me,’You on the phone? I thought you were Crazy!’ This is the guy who’s receiving a lot of support from his community, and this is his reaction to be out in public clearly high off some narcotic and talking foolishness to someone supporting his business.
