The prices are really insane here. A bowl (not a large bowl at all) a can of soda and a side of baguette was nearly $30.
The baguette was quite nice actually and I really enjoyed it. The Pho was not so nice. There was barely any meat inside and the broth had no flavor. It was basically like sipping on warm water. The meat was ok and was pretty tender. The noodles felt a little off, but I will attribute it to the broth having no flavor, so the noodles had no flavor to soak in.
I wouldn’t come here again, as it’s way too expensive, the quality isn’t good and the quantity of the meat is a joke.
The food was very comforting and we finished it satisfied.
I ordered my go-to, and it didn’t disappoint. The BANH MI curry chicken sandwich was perfectly seasoned with a bit of spice from the Jalapeño and the sweetness from the curry. I paired it with a basil roll and an orange fanta. Perfect combo in my opinion!
At one point, I’m sure this place delivered amazing food. But not anymore. It seems as thogh the pandemic had decimated their business and food quality. When we walked in (in latter half of May, 2022), the place looked depressing and under-staffed. Most of the restaurant was shut down due to nobody wanting to work (seating area was most closed). We ordered the vermicelli bowls with grilled pork. Total disappointment! The taste just wasn’t there! We thought that we encountered a bad day at the restaurant. So we went there again the next day and ordered their Bahn Mi (their specialty). We were again disappointed. Lots of veggies and little meat.
Honestly, I can get way better Vietnamese food here in Denver — let alone from non-Guy Fieri rated restaurants.
I’m very sad for this establishment and where it had ended up.
(2019) still a good restaurant. The location and curb appeal is a little dumpy but the food is still good. Prices have gone up quite a bit now that they have multiple stores. They just open one in Sandy as well.
