We had a brilliant supper last Friday. Popped in about 2000 and we’re lucky to get the last table. Super simple menu, which we were talked through. I ended up going with the salmon en papilote which was absolutely delicious. Felt like a wonderful family restaurant, loved it

I stayed in Toulouse for 10 days in Dec 2025 and this was the only place I visited twice. Excellent service, friendly and relaxed. Small menu but the food is just done well. The dauphinoise potatoes, I could just eat that on it’s own! Luckily you can also have it served with steak, duck, and other excellent meats. I strongly recommend and indeed commend this place!

Where do I start . The staff are so kind so attentive just lovely. The owner really goes the extra mile.
The atmosphere is buzzing. Its very busy so book if possible.
Then there’s the food . The steak is lovely but the duck is outstanding. The dauphinoise potatoes are the best I’ve ever tasted. The pepper sauce is perfect . Even the fries are excellent.
Its a decent price too.
I can’t wait to return next spring.

Fresh Tacky Pastry
Wasn’t able to get in on my first try so I made sure to get there at open! It filled up quickly! I had tartare and duck.. both were very good. I would return!

I stumbled upon this restaurant while passing by and decided to give it a try. Since it was a busy Friday night around 8pm, Mathieu asked me to come back a bit later, which was totally understandable. I returned later & he was very attentive throughout.
I tried the salmon with gratin dauphinois and fries, and it honestly felt like a home-cooked meal made with love. The flavors were comforting and genuine, making the whole experience feel very homely. A lovely spot with great food and friendly service — I’ll definitely be back next time when I visit Toulouse!

1 tartare de boeuf , just excellent
I don’t talk about the gratin dauphinois… It’s a dish of itself. I would come back just for that.
Tiramisu is very good, and the mousse de noisette even much better. Great!
Nothing to say: everything was amazingly cooked.
Service:
Super service, with the smile, with the small attentions , it’s fast and efficient. Perfect
Atmosphere:
In france we call it ” à la bonne franquette”. Not much decotation, just de simpoe one and we can focus on tue great food.
You won’t get disappointed!
Book or come early , if not no space for you.

Great place for a quick dinner. Food arrive super fast and everyone is attentive.
Duck tasted nice , was cooked well. 45 mins later I was out after dessert, glass of wine and a duck breast.
The best thing is the gratin – didn’t have such a great Gratin since a very very long time.
Can recommend you to anyone looking for some great food and a low-touch but still ncie interior/ service.

It is so nice we ate there twice. You know you have got a winner when you visit a place twice while on a 4-day trip to Toulouse!
The duck and their salmon specialty with a julienne of veggies are masterpieces.
The pork and the entrecôte were good as well.
Their sides of fries and dauphinois, which you can take half-half with any dish, are to die for. Very hearty!

I like a hearty meal, but the rib eye and potato au gratin was overwhelmingly rich for me, a little citric to the plate would nicely balance out the heaviness and accentuate the nicely cooked steak. It’s still a decent restaurant, just not for me.
