I came to the H Mart one day shortly after it first opened. I arrived early in the morning, so there wasn’t a line to get in. I did my shopping and then decided to tackle the food court. The amount of people coupled with the plenty different options is borderline overwhelming, but the layout is perfect. Plenty of room for all the lines. Very well organized.
Different cuisines all lined up, and the first one I went to was for the Korean hot dogs. I had actually never had one before, believe it or not. So I asked what was a go-to, and I got this corn dog that was half cheesestick and also had crispy potatoes embedded in the fried batter. Wild, man.
The textures were all wonderful. The potatoes were indeed crispy, the batter was also crispy and not oily or anything, the cheesestick was ooey gooey, and the hot dog was firm and had the hint of a snap you want with each bite.
What wasn’t there was the flavor. You definitely need something with a dog here. What was given to me was a cup of dipping sugar. It was interesting, for sure. It helped. But now I understand why some people would order this thing completely coated in Cheetos or Takis. For a pop of flavor. And of course to help the Grammability.
Overall, this was a cute little place. Very fun and novelty. It would have gotten a perfect five if I didn’t also eat and two other stands on the same visit.

Oh K dog is located inside H-Mart’s Food Hall. It’s a Korean fast-food spot that follows a fun trend from Korea similar to American corn dogs, but with unique fillings and coatings. They add creative toppings like Takis or Cheetos, and you can even choose different coatings such as panko or sweet potato, which makes the variety really interesting.

Loved! This was my first time trying a K hot dog and it was a great experience. I loved the variety of options (including topping sauces) to customize the flavors. I ordered the half mozzarella/half hot dog. It had a nice crunch to the exterior and a good cheese pull. The staff was incredibly friendly.

My child wanted a Cheetos cheese and sausage hot dog, so I ordered one. The cheese stretched a little on the first bite, but from the second bite onwards, the cheese was cold and lumpy. When I showed it to the counter staff and asked about it, they said that’s how it’s supposed to be. I’m speechless. I would never eat a hot dog like this again, especially for almost $9.

It was very good probably the best corn dog I’ve ever had. I got the half mozzarella had sausage one with the fries on it and it was really fresh and is bigger than I expected. They had a bunch of different sauces but overall the taste was good. On the other hand it was really busy although I did go during lunch time on a Saturday . The wait was around 10 minutes, there’s also no seating unless you want to stand by someone’s table til they leave.

I got myself a rice cake dog and it was so insanely good. I finished it in like 40 seconds and immediately got another one. 10/10 the staff are so nice too! Also the slushies are so good, they’re soft and nice and taste healthy instead of like ‘normal’ overly sugar ones

I’m sorry but waiting 15 min for a hot dog is ridiculous. Also the person handing my my food didn’t let me know that they messed up my food and would take more time to fix. And even though my order came out the person handling my food made 3-4 other orders before finally handing me my order. I’m not coming back to HMart or this hotdog place ever again.

I tried a hot Cheeto corndog and a mozzarella corndog with potatoes and they were both pretty good. They also had a large variety of sauces to choose from.
