They’ve severely gone down hill, a favorite treat we’d buy two of per month…now we just threw two Cherry-Cheese in the garbage that tasted of rancid fat. Mike’s is pricey but I think we’d prefer higher quality to lower price.

I contacted the company and they said it was purchased at the Mobil in Sturdevant and wasn’t their responsibility for freshness. They own the stand in the Mobil station. Not worth arguing with the nice person via email, but don’t throw your money or Kringle in the bin. Get fresh from somewhere else.

Saw this place on TikTok and had to stop in while visiting family! Tried a peach danish and their famous cinnamon Kringle. Both were absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. Would definitely come back again to try out more things.

Great place to pick up a Kringle. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have other items too but I am so interested in the Kringles I don’t usually notice.

May come back when I a chunk of time some day to browse and check out other stuff.

Only $13.95 for the fanciest special holiday Kringles that I have to eat over multiple days (not because I couldn’t eat it all at once but I shouldn’t)

I went to O&H bakery on Saturday about 1:00 pm.i bought 2 chocolate cherry croissants and other pastries. When my wife and I got home around 7:00 pm. We ate the croissants. They were a colossal disappointment. The pastry was crisp on the outside but soggy inside.there was about a teaspoon of filling and it was concealed and the chocolate tasted like wax.it tasted like it was made on Thursday or Friday and was just sold on Saturday to get rid of the leftovers. I will probably not go back after seeing how far down the quality has gone from what it used to be.

Pumpkin Caramel Kringle: A Kringle is a large circular Danish pastry with flaky dough, covered in icing, & filled with fruit, nut, or other more unique flavors. After doing a little research I’ve learned that sadly, Kringles are not widely spread throughout the U.S. It turns out that Racine, WI is actually the epicenter for Kringles. O&H Danish Bakery opened in 1949 and has been family owned for four generations. Did you know Kringle is the official state pastry of Wisconsin? This one is filled with a sweet and delicious pumpkin puree and topped with a drizzle of caramel icing and sprinkling of pecans. The pastry has just the right amount of chewiness to it and is also a little flaky like a croissant. O&H does not skimp on the filling as there is plenty of pumpkin hiding inside. Personally, I found pumpkin was the strongest flavor, but it’s accompanied by cinnamon and a nuttiness (from the pecans). Caramel was the least noticeable as it came off as mostly a generic sweetness on my tastebuds. Personally, I don’t care for nuts on my desserts, so I would be fine if it didn’t come with pecans. Although I would have liked more caramel and less pecans, pumpkin is the most important factor, and this was a phenomenal pumpkin dessert! Doughboy approved

I ordered this Danish lawyer cake for my husband for his birthday. I brought it up to the Dells area was having a birthday party for my husband. Was so excited to serve this cake and let everybody know who have not had it before. How delicious O each bakery is. This is the second danish layer that I have received this way within the past seven months. The frosting was thicker than the cake. I chilled the cake in the refrigerator and when I took it out to cut it, the pile of frosting in the picture is what broke off the cake as I was cutting it. Big chunks fell off. It was the most disgusting dessert I have ever served anyone and I can’t talk about how embarrassed I was! I let O&H know about this instead of refunding me for the cake they gave me rewards points on my reward account. Like big deal I paid almost $39 for the cake. After all the hassle of not being able to get this satisfied with me, she then decided to give me a tort. That was after the fact. Needless to say, I will not be back to own a bakery. I’d rather choose Benson’s.

Ok so it was paczki day and we went to O and H for mine. I always go for my blueberry filled! This year they were AWEFUL! No jelly filled. They were filled with frosting, plus they were sliced! Who does that? You take a bite and it fell open sideways and the so called frosting came out all over! Very dissapointed! Meiyers had better and so did Piggly wiggly!

I’ve never been to the bakery in person, but my aunt and uncle send me a Kringle or two every Christmas (my uncle grew up in the area and has enjoyed this bakery for years). Even through shipping they arrive perfect! Never a dry bite and the cherry/cranberry filling is full of flavor and brings back memories of the delicious pastries I enjoyed living in Germany. If you want an authentic danish kringle, but aren’t local, hop online and have it shipped directly to your home! Hope to one day visit one of the locations in person!

Also…the kringles can be frozen and eaten at a later date! (But honestly, unless you get more than one there won’t be any leftover to freeze)
