Came in for brunch today and it was absolutely amazing. First off this place has been on my list for a very long time so I’m glad I finally made it up here. The waitress was amazing so kind so helpful and so cheerful that I made the whole experience great. The biscuit, which was highly recommended by her was amazing. I had the biscuit omelette, which was awesome and the country fried steak was great as well. It’s a really nice spot with a large deck area that’s covered and plenty of room. Everything tasted great and overall was an amazing experience.

Absolutely amazing service! Everyone was soooooo welcoming! Food was absolutely fantastic- thank you to the lady who recommended my dish! Owner even came out and sang happy birthday to me with my employees! Such a great experience and they really made the start of my birthday. I appreciate it greatly! See photos of owner below! I plan to remember next time I’m in town!

What a cute little place!! The seating is outdoor and shaded or not (of course we took the Vitamin D sun spot!)

The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The manager asked about our food, which was delicious. We each had a build your own biscuit with egg, cheese, turkey sausage and an avocado. The biscuit is about the size of a saucer plate…so not small but not humongous where you would waste it or split it. The food tasted amazing…the biscuit was light and flaky, the eggs cooked perfectly. We also ordered a cinnamon roll to go which was DELICIOUS.

We will be back for sure !!

Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing due to poor service.

The waitress did not understand our orders correctly. I clearly asked for the Cinnabon roll as dessert, but it was brought before the main meal, which made absolutely no sense.

My boyfriend ordered two biscuits, but received two orders of bacon instead. When he explained the mistake, the waitress brought two additional biscuits, resulting in three biscuits total, which only added to the confusion.

On top of that, the coffee was charged at $7, and we were never informed whether it was a refill or not.

The most frustrating part is that the total came to $60 for a simple breakfast. For the quality of service we received, it was absolutely not worth it. We felt taken advantage of, and the experience was very disappointing.

At this point, we will only be going to Mulberry Lane Cafe, where the service is consistently much better and the experience actually matches the price.

Definitely not worth it — we will not be coming back.

Okay place. Meatloaf with biscuit drew me in. Biscuit were good. Meatloaf was not, more like a square shape hashbeef. Next will order a biscuit sandwish. They look good. Music play was alittle religiously. Nice patio area. Had a few mimosas.

Overall, not bad. The brunette hostess was outstanding. very talkative and friendly, took our drink orders, and consistently checked up on us despite there being multiple large parties. Servers were very kind and apologetic for the wait, and chef even came out to say hello. Food was Okay, got the biscuit sandwich and hash brown patty. Hashbrown patty was nothing but grease. Amazing service, ok food, great atmosphere.

Lunch was scrumptious! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with a side of onion rings. The sandwich was on a hearty chiabata bread and generous chunks of avocado balanced out the fried chicken. Devon provided attentive service without hovering.

Oh Biscuit is a true hidden gem in Melbourne! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. Reminds me of going back home to taste my mothers/grandmothers cooking! The food is absolutely outstanding — the biscuits are perfectly fluffy, buttery, and made from scratch with so much love. Every bite tastes fresh and comforting, whether you’re enjoying them with gravy, eggs, or just on their own.

The menu has a great balance of classic Southern favorites and creative twists, so there’s something for everyone. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and you leave feeling completely satisfied. The service is friendly and genuine, the kind of place where they remember your name after a few visits.

If you’re in Melbourne and looking for a delicious breakfast or brunch spot, Oh Biscuit is a must-visit. It’s the kind of local treasure that makes you want to come back again and again. I forgot to take a photo of the food because it was that good!!!!

Oh!!! My!!!!! Goodness!!!!

We tried this little out of the way spot for the first time today after seeing some great reviews on a local FB page. Upon pulling up- you could tell things were different here. The handwritten menu board was precise and artfully created. The specials were varied and I spied my favorite- shrimp and grits!

The patio dining looked inviting, but we opted to sit inside and seated ourselves at a table with a wall booth. The decor was simple but beautiful. There seemed to be genuine interest in doing things well. I noticed that the tropical foliage wall paper had a wall plate on it where the pattern on the wallpaper was precisely matched to the wall plate. Nice!

The smell inside was a delightful food aroma with an under note of cleaner. I like a clean restaurant!

The lone server was also the female half of the couple that owns the restaurant- and she was a delight to talk to- but understandably brief as she was the only server for an increasingly busy place.

I ordered the shrimp and grits and my dining partner ordered the Oh Biscuit omelet with home fries. Our food came out quickly and was piping hot.

The shrimp and grits were delicious. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and blackened to perfection . I have tried so many “blackened” shrimp lately where they lacked any flavor at all and had the texture of tennis balls. These were the opposite in every way and were so flavorful! The grits were good and had nice chunks of seasoned tomato and a smattering of Parmesan cheese. All of it- delicious!

The Oh Biscuit omelet- bacon and lots of veggies and my table mate said it was delicious. The home fries were loaded with chunks of onion and peppers and she said they and the biscuit were excellent.

We enjoyed our lunch very much and will be frequenting this little treasure often! You can tell when people care about what and how they serve others! ❤️

First time to Oh Biscuit and will definitely be back! The food was soo good! Had the Ruben sandwich with fries. Excellent! Lots of meat on the sandwich, very tasty, and the fries were nice and crisp. My BF had the checkerboard fried steak and he had nothing but good things to say about it. We talked with the owner some, asking about different dishes. He gave us some grits to try, and OMG, they were awesome. I’m not a big fan of grits but these are soo good; kind of tasted like corn chowder too me. Very nice people and server was very friendly as well. We will be back!
