We often eat at a restaurant near OGGI and we keep promising to visit. Well we did and it was well worth it!
We had a bruschetta to start (a must in any Italian restaurant) and shared this between us.
My beautiful better half opted for a seafood pasta and I had the Pollo OGGI. We ordered a side of garlic bread and both meals were fantastic!
The flavours and presentation were excellent, but there was a large group of about 30 people in, so it was a bit noisy and the service was a bit slow.
The restaurant itself is quite small, but the decor is smart and the place appeared clean.
It is not the cheapest, but the food quality makes up for this. I spent about £80 for the two of us and that included a dessert (the compulsory Tiramisu- the true measure of any Italian), which was beautifully light and tasty, and three coffees throughout the meal. Not bad value.
A great little hideaway for date night and the presentation makes it feel more expensive than it is!
I wholly recommend this quaint little Italian!

First time here, came for a staff do. Smallish place and was busy. Service is table service and was still prompt even though it was busy.
Food was very nice and very well presented. A good place to take a date. Prices on the higher side but still reasonable.
What I liked most was that the manager, was visible and took time to greet or speak to most people in the restaurant which is becoming rarity in this trade.

A wonderful place to eat. I took my family which consisted 4 adults and 2 kids. Food was delicious. Staff friendly and attentive. Service really lovely. I would go back again!

We’ve eaten at Oggi’s on a number of occasions and every visit has been enjoyable. Great food, good sized servings and excellent service. We recently had to visit another Italian establishment in Leicester (location was the reason) and the experience was very disappointing. Oggi’s will always be our first choice when in town.

Classic Italian with a good range of pasta and seafood dishes. Although busy service was excellent; friendly but unobtrusive. Food is all cooked fresh but the wait was relatively short given the quality of what they are producing. I’d book ahead as it was pretty full when we there.

Me and my husband came here in November before an evening show at De Montfort Hall. We loved the warm atmosphere, attentive staff and incredible food. So when choosing where to go for my birthday meal, it was easy to pick OGGI again. We had a lovely lunch and really enjoyed the Christmas menu – the food was fantastic yet again and it was a brilliant place to go to for a birthday. Thank you OGGI and all your incredible staff!
