We frequent Ofrenda for their great service and fresh food and drink. This is THE place to go for beautiful surrounding views and amazing margaritas – Apple and Skinny Strawberry are our faves. We recently worked with Christian to host a family grad party – we were allowed to bring our own decor and had a private space with balcony that allowed guests to mingle and visit without being constricted to the table. Great option for families! We priced a few options and this was a great deal for the dedicated staff and bartender – the private space has its own bar when makes entertaining ideal. Consider this for your next party!!!

Love this place. Hip Mexican atmosphere loaded with amazing folk art. Friendly attentive service. And the food is great. Original, artistic, fresh and not mass produced. I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve had here. There are dishes you won’t see anywhere else and traditional ones as well. Fresh. Not loaded up with goopy cheese to hide the shortcomings. Check it out!

Amazing food with outstanding service and ambiance. We ordered multiple dishes and shared them with the group. The drinks we ordered were just right and came out quickly. The food was cooked well and seasoned perfectly. What stood out to us was the rice and beans as the side of each dish. There were 3 different sauces with the order of chips for the table. The atmosphere was wonderful and everything looked amazing. Unfortunately they fell short when it came to the service and the food. I ended up going to the bar to get a drink since our waitress hadn’t come back to the table or ask if we wanted anything else. The tacos I got weren’t anything I would want or order again. I was looking forward to trying this place out since it looked amazing but was met with disappointment instead.

Our first review is below. We came back after hiking Cave Creek recreation trails (awesome). We are pleased to report everything tasted wonderful again. The consistency is solid from the service, the Cadillac margaritas to the chips, salsa and tacos. Tried the Tres Leches cake. Exquisite! We’ll be back

We met some friends for golf and they said they had a Mexican restaurant they liked. We went that evening and boy, were we happy! The Cadillac margarita was very nice and the chips and salsa were superb. The star was the 3 Pork Carnitas Tacos. We substituted flour tortilla (our preference). The flavor from the first bite to the last was flavorful, juicy and superbly seasoned. We couldn’t be happier. We are about an hour away from the restaurant, but will most certainly be back.

Okay Local Cave Creek Person that loves supporting CC businesses First the food was average, salsa was delicious and homemade (not free ) Our server was great – food came out fast. Taste average. The atmosphere was nice – big , but they had live music playing when we were there, and I could not even hear the person on the other side of the table (in a booth) other than that – my mother was hard to convince to come back (70+ years old) me … well I will give it another shot, but they have to really read the room with a CC / Carefree crowd.

Visit if looking for an upper-scale Mexican restaurant that mixes with a hip American vibe. Highly decorated day of the dead ambiance, evening live music, medium to high tier Mexican food, mid-high price, friendly hosts. Competent/fast/friendly wait staff.
Everything was well done, with the exception of one skirt steak dish. I assume certain dishes are hit or miss, but the salsa sampler, chicken/beef enchiladas, and tacos were all good enough. I certainly suggest visiting given the unique ambiance draw-factor to go with it.

I have a new favorite restaurant in Cave Creek! We tried Ofrenda for lunch today for the first time, and everything from start to finish was executed flawlessly. After reading through some of the negative reviews I can just say we arrived early for lunch, we were given plenty of attention, and the food was beyond delicious. The restaurant itself is a work of art, loved seeing all of the beautiful artwork and the tequila room. Highly recommended, but if going in the evening when they’re more busy I would recommend bringing a bag full of patience. I did not receive anything for writing this five star review, just supporting our local businesses in Cave Creek!
Update April 11, 2022. Restaurant changed hands today. I will update after we dine there with the new menu in place.
