I really wanted to like this place but it was a complete let down.
I came here with a group of people based off of a recommendation by a local pizza shop owner down the street.
I should have known something was off when I came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was dead while all of the surrounding restaurants were packed.
The experience with the staff was amazing. They were very friendly and explained the menu in detail. They were attentive the entire time but not overbearing.
The food on the other hand, left much to be desired. I ordered the Turkey sandwich, brisket sandwich, coleslaw, Mac and cheese, and sweet tea. Both sandwiches were dry and I had to slather the Turkey in the homemade sauce to give it some life. The Mac and cheese – I don’t really know what to say other than it lacked flavor and there was no cheese pull – at all. The coleslaw was the best part of the meal. The sweet tea tasted like brewed Lipton with a dash of sugar.
Overall the experience was not great – the two stars are for the staff and the coleslaw.

Best smoked barbeque ever…and I went to school in Texas. Richie the owner greets you like an old friend. Catering, night with the pitmaster, tailgate parties, weddings you name it Offshore BBQ delivers.

The brisket grilled cheese was amazing as were the ribs. Worth the price. Highly recommended! The owner was extremely nice! His homemade sauces complimented the meal well.

Empty place on a busy Saturday in the downtown area, however Offshore got good reviews. The menu was a little confusing and the two working had a tone like we should “already know” how they serve things while we were ordering. The food took incredibly long, but we thought it was going to be good. WRONG. I included photos because I would have appreciated someone else posting them so that I knew what not to order. I wouldn’t fathom anyone’s idea of a grilled cheese being burnt bread on the outside and cold cheese on the inside. Didn’t even have the smoked flavor described on the menu. The Mac and Cheese should just be labeled “mac” because it was dried out and tasteless. I also ordered a sandwich, big slices of bread with soggy meat and sauce on the side. Alot of money and we threw everything away. We didn’t bother saying anything because we were treated poorly to begin with. Always go to a place that’s busy, lesson learned.

Worst lunch Ever!!!!! The pulled pork and mozz was burnt on both sides. Not slightly burnt, but inedible burnt. Mac n cheese was the worst I ever had. Overcooked and zero seasoning. Nothing creamy and cheesy about it. Right in the garbage. Called the business and received a rude guy who wouldn’t give his name. Said that’s how it comes and hung up on me. Very professional Should’ve stuck with Woodchucks or Hickory Hog. I’ll never order here again and I will definitely spread the word. I’d give it a -5 stars if I could!!!!!

Food was great. Ordered half pound of brisket and half pound of pull pork to go and totally enjoyed the meat. However I have an issue with the portion size. When we got home looking at the meats it does not look like I have a pound of food. We put it on the scale and we got about 12 ounces of meat. It could be just a mistake but we are a little disappointed by that.

This is the second time eating at OBBQ. First time was back in early June and then today. I have to write, the St. L style ribs are excellent, superb, falling off the bone. Sweet tea is refreshing and the vinegar cole slaw offsets the meat portion.

Just ate lunch at Offshore BBQ with my daughters. Rich, the owner, came out to say hello and walk us though the menu. We had pulled pork, ribs and brisket with ALL the sides slaw, beans, chips and fries. It was awesome. Best of all, 3 of us had lunch for under $40. I was really impressed!

AMAZING! We ordered a few trays for our daughters first birthday party and everyone was literally blown away by how good everything was. We had ribs, pulled pork, smoked turkey and smoked Mac n cheese. We have tried a few other BBQ places in the area and they don’t even come close to how good this was. I said to my husband that I finally feel like I had real BBQ for the first time in my life. Other places taste like their meat is bland and just smothered in basic bottled BBQ sauce but this was beyond delicious. You can tell the owner really cares about the food he puts out. Not only was the food amazing, but they were so friendly and accommodating. They let us pick up our food before they opened. Don’t even waste your time or money going to other BBQ places in the area. This is where it’s at!!!!!

Brisket, ribs and smoked beans are delicious! Ribs were falling off the bone. Brisket was juicy and full of flavour. I’m pretty picky with BBQ being from Texas, but this was top notch! Owner took time to come out and talk while I waited which made the experience even better. Will definitely be going back soon!
