Drinks were extremely well made. We loved the cocktail offerings and enjoyed each we were served. Bartenders were great and attentive. We did not have a full meal but we will be back and plan to eat more next time!

Wandered in here about 630p on a Wednesday. Place was packed. Only about 15 seats at the bar but a number of tables surrounding it. Definitely a cool cocktail bar. Good bourbon selection and the bartender poured me what I would consider a very fair pour. Didn’t have food so can’t comment but enjoyed the bar snacks while having my drink. Interesting to sit back and watch the crowd.
If coming go thru the mai. Entrance of the hitel, walk straight then bear left to a door leading downstairs. May need to ask the bellman.

Excellent service: quick, quiet and responsive. Beautiful decor and pleasant atmosphere. It was busy, but I did get a seat at the bar within a few minutes. It is expensive (around $30 for a cocktail) but so is everything in DC and at least this was worth the money. The drinks were quite strong. I appreciated the complementary hors d’oeuvres.

We were looking for a nice place to have a drink and found this bar on google maps. The place is very nice. We sat at the bar and were greeted right away. I had an old fashion and chicken wings, both were very good. Took home several of the coasters very cool. Highly recommend if you’re looking for the same.

Great service, beautiful atmosphere, diverse crowd, good selection of drinks and a delicious variety of bites.
Def recommend the espresso martinis and tell your waiter to make it “creamy” with a bit of baileys. Perfection!

Located inside the hotel at the basement, this an elegant and classy bar but you still won’t feel strange coming in casual clothing. Very attentive bar tenders. Domingo was amazing. A very Washingtonian vibe with all the politicians cartoons on the walls.
I tried their classic Martini and I enjoyed it.

We had drinks and a little food. I really enjoyed it here. It was quiet and had a kind of speak easy feel. If you like that, it’s worth the stop. Lamb Meat Balls are exceptional. Next time I’ll order two orders. We split the Short Rib Grill Cheese. The sandwich was good. I’d recommend it. The drinks were spectacular. The bar tender was top-notch. Wish I had grabbed his name. We were there on Tuesday the 28th at about 1pm. It is on the more pricey side, so be surprised.

I visited Off the Record on a Thursday night on my first trip to Washington DC and had a great time sitting at the bar, people watching, enjoying all the caracatures on the wall of politicians as well as coasters. Although their scotch was a bit over priced I wanted to commemorate the trip and they had both the rare Macallan 25 and Time Space so I had to indulge.
