What a joke. I ordered the steak club on sourdough (offered on the menu) but they only had wheat and cuban bread. When the club came, I audibly laughed. It was the saddest sandwich id ever seen ($17 mind you). It has one slice of ham, one slice of turkey, one super thin slice of steak, and a thick cut of tomato to cover their fraud. The wheat bread was regular sandwich bread and not even toasted. Don’t waste your money on minimal effort and poor quality. I walked out.

I walked over to this awesome cuban restaurant The day I came to Miami for the first time in six years because I had an appointment in the area and I am so glad that I did! The service was awesome, the food was great, the Cafecito was unbelievably great – exactly what I expected and more importantly, needed on this trip!
I ordered a pan con Lechon and it was so delicious that even though I felt full after the first slice, I couldn’t resist the second slice.
P.S.: Prepare to converse in basic Spanish.

My coworker picked up lunch for me and I asked for steak with rice and beans and plantains. What I got was a cubed steak, soaked and vinegar with onions. The steak was inedible. I could not cut it, I could not chew it, I could not tear it with my teeth. I wasted almost $20. Don’t frequent this place, do not even go near it. It was disgusting.

I had no idea the kind of food this place offered the first time I went, I was simply curious because it looked cozy, and I was pleasantly surprised! The Cuban sandwiches here are bomb, and the waitress all by herself gave good, friendly service.

My fiancée and I looked up this place and read the reviews and we were super excited to go and not to mention super hungry. From the moment we walked in my fiancée asked I believe her name is Jenny if we seated ourselves and she had this demeanor and face like she didn’t want to be at work. We still go in and sit. She comes over to fill our water glass and some water splashes and she just goes on and leaves like nothing. In that moment I said we are leaving. I went up to the counter and asked her for her name and a men walked in and she completely ignored me and started talking to him. I asked her again for her name and she said I’m not giving you my name. I said to her that I work as a manager for many years in the customer service world and that if she doesn’t feel good she should have asked to stay home. That it is not fair to the customers for her to be that way and for them not to have a good experience. There was another customer eating there and she asked her if she wasn’t feeling well because she noticed she was not herself. She then was trying to convince us to please sit back done and stay and I told her I was not comfortable because I didn’t know what was going to be done to my food. I told her to have a good day and feel better. Please if there is an owner at this establishment, speak to this girl and assist her with some customer service training especially in the area that you are in. Also when employees do not feel well give them the opportunity to not come to work so they don’t take their frustration out on the customer.

I was at the courthouse with my girlfriend and I googled for breakfast near me, and this location was the closest. After spending ten minutes looking for the parking meter, I ran across the street to pay. When we asked the the hostess for outside seating, she said that they were only seating inside, even though the outside was set up. Then after sitting down, I was told that breakfast ended four minutes ago.
I’m going with three stars because the whole parking situation is out of their hands, and the inside looked inviting, but I was quite disappointed at the seating and timing issues I had. I’ll come back another day and update my review after actually eating there.

What a lovely little gem of a restaurant tucked away in Coral Gables. Casual Cuban inspired dining with a wine bar. Love the artwork.

I had the shredded pork and it was one of the best tasting meals I’ve eaten. The entire meal was full of flavor, and the pork had enough crispy bits to add a lot of interesting texture.
