I absolutely loved Off The Hook, there gluten free allergy friendly options were fantastic ca t recommend more highly, after along day fishing was a great way to end the day plus the band was great.

I felt very uncomfortable when I arrived. The waitress was nice and did her best, but service was a bit slow, especially when it came to refilling drinks. The appetizers were good, but I was disappointed with my entrée. I ordered the Triple Threat Taco, which included battered fish, shrimp, and scallops. The food arrived with my friends’ meals, but when I took a bite, the taco started to fall apart. They only used one corn tortilla, and it seemed like the taco had been sitting out after being cooked, so it was soggy. The combination of flavors didn’t work well, either. I ended up just eating the shrimp, scallops, and fish by themselves because I didn’t want to waste the food.
My friends were upset and told the waitress about my experience. She said she would let the manager know. The manager came to our table with a stern expression and asked why she had been called over. My friends explained that the food was cold. The manager looked at me with what felt like disgust and said, “Per our policy, we don’t give refunds on food that’s been eaten.” We explained that we weren’t looking for a refund, just giving feedback, and we didn’t want to escalate the situation.
I’m not sure if the manager was being condescending because I’m a different race, but I felt very embarrassed. I personally didn’t want to escalate things because I was afraid, but my friends stood up for me—they noticed how the manager treated me. Would I come back? Absolutely not. The vibe was off. If you don’t look like them, you might feel uncomfortable here. This place did not feel welcoming at all.

The food is superb. The Mudslide was by far the best I’ve had, and the atmosphere is/was so therapeutic I could and have sat for hours

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance with friends while on a trip.
Really good outdoors restaurant with nice live music, atmosphere and views .
It was a long weekend so we had to wait a bit longer for a table but we were having drinks at the time so it wasn’t a problem.
The foods was really good, fresh and well seasoned.
We have good time.
Definitely I do recommend this place

I live in the area and visit off the hook approximately six times per season. Family and friends have a packed not to eat here, but we decided to give it another go.
We ordered the bacon cheeseburger, taco trio, and a quahog.
My taco Trio was pathetic and not worth $19. The bacon cheeseburger had the consistency of compacted, frozen sawdust, but I will say the quahog was actually very good.
The above items and five drinks two of which were non alcoholic. The tab came to $119 before tip.
We know going to off the hook is not going to be a culinary experience but they can do better.

This was my first visit to Off The Hook, and I will definitely be back! The food was delicious and so fresh!!! They have a streamlined menu with all of the favorites and something for everyone. I enjoyed the fish and chips, which was one of the best I have had. I loved the crispy breading, and the piece of fish was huge! The fries were a bit well done, but I like them that way, so I didn’t mind. The tartar sauce was delicious and the Cole slaw was pretty good too! My friend had The Platter, which had fish, shrimp, and scallops. She loved her meal as well! Beautiful spot right on the water! Make sure you bring a sweater if dining at night as it does get breezy, but it is also very refreshing. We went on a Wednesday night which is Song Bingo night and it was so much fun!! Everyone there had a blast and was singing along to each song. They also have an ice cream spot here, but it closes pretty early. I will be back for sure!

We were greeted warmly and brought to our table quickly. The waitstaff was friendly and professional. It passed the Calamari test, lightly breaded and tender, not over cooked. My Hook Burger was excellent as was my wife’s fish sandwich. The fries were hot crisp. The view from the dining area was excellent looking at West Island and the water with its many boats. Definitely put this place on your places to dine in the summer.

Came on a Saturday afternoon to sit outside by the boats. Beautiful views, friendly people and happy with our food. I loved my grilled cheese and my husband loved his clam chowder.
I even saved room for ice cream. Autokrat coffee milk and oreo was great.

Good GLUTEN FREE options, large portion, FIsh n chips, fries, wings, tenders, clam chowder, Largest portion I’ve seen for GF, Pricey but worth it, been to other places and paid the same and this was at least twice the food with no markup fees and tasted GREAT. No GF Bread. view is nice. service is busy so little slow but was fine, had nothing planned. drinks were very good.
