All I have to say is that this is some of the best food I have had since moving to Martinsburg. The food was well seasoned and the Lemonade and Half & Half tea slaps. The T.K.O…better yet.. Love T.K.O Mumbo Chicken was my favorite meal off the menu. The Fish was delicious and needed no hot sauce (Just my Opinion). If you want delicious Mac & Cheese that is not dry, well this is the place to come to. I will definitely get food from here again. Lovely hospitality!

If you are looking for food that is seasoned and makes you so happy to eat, this is your place!! We had the fried shrimp platter with Mac and cheese and candied yams. I have just died and gone to heaven. Shrimp was crunchy corn meal seasoned to perfection. Candied yams sweet and cinnamon make you feel ready for the holidays. Now the Mac and cheese just shut up. Shut up!! So damn good. Please eat here. There is no way they make anything bad!!

Off the Grill was recommended to me by a friend who also had food sensitivities. Gluten free fried chicken, shrimp and fish! I would drive to the ends of the earth for that! The taste was phenomenal , you couldn’t even tell it was gluten free. Everything was fresh crisp and seasoned to perfection! And the greens and potato salad is ‘ slap yo momma’ worthy! We’re from PA. and we will definitely be back!

The food was amazing! We enjoyed the mumbo wings and the fried chicken combo with Mac and yams. The Mac was baked and seasoned well. The mumbo was house made and has a nice sweetness to complement the savory chicken. Do not leave without trying the blueberry lemonade or the flower power drink.

Very friendly and helpful. Chose the shrimp platter. Gluten free fried shrimp were wonderful! Full skewer, plus 2 sides. Mac and cheese was devoured by the grandbaby while I enjoyed the perfectly seasoned and spicy collard greens. Excellent dinner!

My son ordered the fried chicken platter with greens and mac’n’cheese. He said the chicken was flavorful, juicy and not at all greasy. The greens had a nice kick of a sweet heat and the mac’n’cheese was so good. Highly reccommend and we will definately be back!!

Let me first point out the incredible customer service that the staff at Off the Grill have demonstrated while trying to work through the first week of being open, having an overwhelming welcome from new customers, and navigating all the nuances that come with opening a business. A little snafu with the online ordering program caused some confusion with my order- Neicy went above and beyond to make it right. Kudos to you and your team for the attention to each order and customer.
The food is amazing, the side dishes were very flavorful, that cornbread (chef’s kiss)… and the chicken wings are perfectly fried, juicy and tender. It’s everything we have been missing in the area, and is definitely soul food done right.
