We went to the Off Shore Pier finally. We pass it everyday and it’s such an anomaly in this area.

For many, many seemingly hundreds of years, I have been loyal to this sensational store. I’m into fresh, well sourced fish from a knowledgeable vendor. All this time I have never been disappointed in Off Shore! Brilliant selection that is always going to be the freshest, tastiest in the region. The owners work tirelessly to make each visit a pleasure. I adore their work ethics. Anyone who thinks it’s an easy business should give it another thought! If you’ve not been, please try it. If you love fish and you’re particular about freshness, run! I’m on my way right now! ❤️❤️❤️

Took my mom and dad here, we had the platter sampler, plus scallops, they were very impressed. My dad is very picky with seafood(they lived in island nation where he used to fish directly). They were happy, so i am happy. One less star because they said scallops could have been fresher(not bouncy enough, too soft for them but. The scallops were great for me tough)….

Off shore pier offers a lot of different foods from seafood to chicken tenders and hot soups. Their food is fantastic vs. other seafood places I’ve been to. Decent size meals and appetizers and the prices are even better. Their corn nuggets are amazing too. However they only accept cash so you either have to have cash on hand before you go or stop at the ATM at the fish market that’s located on the other side of the building.

I traveled to and from MA in extreme rain all in one day. We live in Altamont so I haven’t had Off Shore in ages. I was dying for a scallop platter with onion rings from Off Shore. Always loved Off Shore. The scallops and rings were dark and greasy. It was nearly inedible. He paid almost $20 so I ate most of the scallops but couldn’t stomach the onion rings.Their food was always excellent but I think they needed to change their oil.

Best Fish Fry ever. Too big for the roll. Macaroni salad the best. Must try. Quick service. Brought our food to us outside. Then checked to make sure everything was ok.

In town for daytrip visit with our grandson in Averill Park. Our son told us about this place. We chose fish fry and fish and chips. We had to wait 55 minutes after paying cash only for our order. No receipt and didn’t take our name. The food was excellent. Atmosphere rather rustic.
